Yes and no. I do ocasionally, but have yet to fully "control" one.

First (and only) time i ever got sleep paralysis, i was about 12. Scared the Fuzzy Bunny out of me.

Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.

I just had a lucid dream last night.
I was a wizard in the harry potter universe, strangely enough. I also got a girl pregnant, but it didn't feel like a bad thing. I remember feeling this incredible joy, ecstasy, even, when the child was born and I held her in my arms.
Best, most emotionally over-powering dream I've had in my entire life.
Also flew around on a broomstick.
Ten points to Gryffindor.

I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread...

I lucid dream somewhat often, but I'm never in control of my surroundings, only of myself. A lot of the time when I dream, I'm trying to fight someone and more often then not, it seems I'm fighting underwater and none of my punches, however forcefully thrown, seem to effect them. But when I have a mind to use Judo in a dream, things usually go differently, haha.

When I realize I'm lucid dreaming, I usually get to doing some things I know I couldn't (or wouldn't) do in real life. For example, one of the best dreams I had was where I was at a real sketchy place with my friend where a lot of drug use was going on. Someone asked me if I'd like to try some coke, and it was at that time I fully realized I was dreaming and gained control of myself.

And I got to snortin'. :awesome:

There also seems to be a good amount of sex that goes on when I lucid dream. D:

My dreams are scandalous.

Same. For all the fights I get into when I dream, they all seem so sluggish and slow motion. Maybe this is cause my arms are tangled in blankets and they are difficult to move? Either way, I get frustrated and try even harder to punch. Sometimes I will land one.

The rest of your post was awesome. Made me laugh

>.> I get fairly bad sleep paralysis if I sleep on my back.. but recently it's tended to start happening if I so much as lay on my back as if going to sleep. :| Annoying.

My dreams have actually improved lately, although it always involves me being chased by stupid Fuzzy Bunny. :awesome: I've had like the same environments since I was 12. :| Change of scenery would be nice, brain. I still remember them all rather vividly.. the worst part is getting lost irl and finding a place that looks eerily familiar - especially when you only have what would be considered 'bad' dreams. xDD

The only time I ever managed to lucid dream, I used a shotgun on a S.W.A.T member. I woke up as soon as I pulled the trigger.

Lately, my dreams feel as if they are becoming too real. It gets annoying sometime. I want some fantasy elements when I dream. :-|

In Dzogchen Buddhism they believe that life is basically a big dream experienced by our senses, and that the only difference between the dreaming world and the waking world is detachment from "reality". Reality in Buddhism is always so complicated and diverse.
