Villager Elders are either moderators, administrators or village staffs who have made significant contributions to RuneVillage, it might be a nice thing to see them having color titles as in on their names, as they are special people With that we could at one glance identify the Village Elders without looking on their profile

We had a color up until about 9 months ago or so. It was decided that we had too many colored name users, which would hinder us from acquiring new villagers, as the only thing you ever saw when you logged in, in regards to who was online, was tons of colored names, which would deter and/or intimidate new users.. I guess.

Bring back elder and legends colors! (Had to for Matt's sake) Although I do truly miss my mossy pukeish green color for my name

Yeah, we made the decision to remove elder + legend colors because we had too many colors.

The colors are meant to help easily identify users who can help you with staff/forum/chat issues. There was really no point to legends and elders having colors in that respect.

We'd rather remain part of the 30% than join the 70%!

I [NEW User] have NO Problem knowing what Colors are for Admins & Mods.

Having different Colors for Different Ranks for previous Admins/Mods is a Good idea because of their previous time for being a Admin/Mod here.

We want to honor people who are currently serving RV with a colored username. Sure, we have a bunch of Legends and half a bajillion Elders, but they're not truly doing anymore much more for RV right now than your normal Villager who has never held any kind of rank is. We're all here for the community, not to be constantly reminded that some people once had a chance to supervise a gigantic amount of users. If I was a brand new user (so I partially assume you can relate to this) I'd feel pretty miffed that I would probably never be able to achieve that elderized color rank, because RuneVillage has so few active people these days that we absolutely do not need new moderators. At this point, I feel it's practically a matter of being fair to the community at large.
