Yes... you're seeing something different in the way RV looks, and the way it works in some areas... but let's be clear from the start-- this is NOT RV 2.0! it's not the massive update we've been working on so long.

Although it's been slowed a bit due to some of the back-end programming, RV 2.0 is still moving forward.

What you're looking at now, we have dubbed "RV 1.3."

And it sort of came about while the development team was waiting for the RV2.0 programming to catch up with them. They needed something constructive to do in the meantime. So they made an upgrade to the existing site-- not the full make-over that is in RV 2.0.

The coding for this project was done by Henner and Dark Paladin. Graphics by Goten and Jackstick. Testing and quality control by Snake1235, Hideyoshi (Pyro3000), Jaron and the admin staff.

So think of this as sort of an RV appetizer... whetting your appetite for the main meal yet to come!

This actually was not a planned event as such-- it started out as a conversation between Henner and Goten about updating some icons, then it sort of took a life of it's own.

So enjoy the new look while you're waiting for RV 2.0, and give a shout of thanks to those who made it possible!!

Looks great! The only suggestion I'd make is to increase the height of the index page's navigation background box: (catheader.gif) so that the navigation items don't spill out of it. Right now, using Firefox, the nav items spill to the bottom edge of the box.

Definitely a nice, classy update though :D

The positioning of The Pub and Chat in the navigation bar need adjusting tbh. Other than that, it looks good.

I was wondering if you keep the Recent Events from previous months, or do they just get deleted?

If so why not have links to them.
