RV is falling apart?

I keep getting this error (about half of all the times I try to load any page)

And I keep getting this warning:

And Chat won't work (it'll load, slowly, and once it's done I just get a white screen)

Am I the only one?

Nope, you're not. I'm, getting the compression errors, but not the malware, and chat's dead aswell, probably due to compression errors again. Don't know what's causing it. Tom/Lochner was getting the same problem and ask me if I had any ideas, but I got none. Unless we were hacked last night.

I keep getting these errors and malware alerts too, but mostly the malware alerts whenever I go to the Index and Chat. Posting seems to have a slight delay too. I am using Google Chrome as well, if that helps anything.

Edit: Well, as soon as I tried to post this, I started getting "Website unavailable" errors.

Reporting compression errors as well; refreshing fixes it, but it's annoying.

Ok.. we're not falling apart, but there are some issues right now due to a hacking attmept on tuesday.

we don't think this attemp was totally successful in that all of the 'bad' files were not inserted into our system.... however some were.

had they been successful, you would have likely been getting 'download' or 'script' alerts from your browser.

however, there is still some 'bad' code in the system, which is what triggered Goggle to give that notice...

we have also basically closed the main site as a precaution-- that is where all the 'bad' files were.

Glode is pretty much on top of this, and has been working since yesterday to resolve the issue...

it appears right now that access was achieved due to one of our uploaders having an infected computer-- something we're also trying to check on at the moment.

hopefully this will be fully cleared up sometime today.

Well, whoever the infected person was, we'll need to quarantine them using elaborate, dehumanizing measures.

Let's just assume it was Jackstick. Who else has such evil intentions? What really tipped me off was the fact that it wasn't fully successful. :weird:

Okay, all infected files have been healed with some of the command kungfu I learnt through the past months

I'm terribly sorry for this, even though I couldn't predict this would happen

Either way, it's exactly the same thing that happened to us a couple of months ago. I think we'll have to re-evaluate how we deal with FTP accounts.

I still cannot access chat.
I get a plain white screen when attempting to enter it. Not even a "loading chat" screen.

Fixed chat now. Apparently I removed too much there when I used that command to remove all malicious code. It's very uncommon and everybody advices to never use that function, but apparently the makers of FlashChat weren't aware of that...

Oh well, restored a backup of that one file and now going to look through the other files that were changed for any problems.

There's something wrong with my login, and I'm not sure if it's related to the problems from the other day. They started around the same time. Nothing major; when I log in, I see code and the fonts get all screwy. There's also different code that appears immediately afterwards on top of the screen. I'll see about logging out and back in until I can get a decent screenshot (the first few lines only appear for a split second).

This only seems to happen when I try to login to reply to a post. Logging in normally works fine.

Not sure if this is related to any major problems, but better safe than sorry.
