It used to very conveniently pop up in like a 3 inch by 3 inch window, and now it pops up in a full size window.

I may just be a complete noob, though. Someone help.

I'm afraid that has to be a setting somewhere in your browser indeed. The code itself hasn't changed and should still generate such a small window.

I never liked the window anyway, in my opinion it would be much better suited if more smileys just appeared on the side, and a [View Less] button under it put it back to normal.

Probably too much work for what it's worth, but the current option just doesn't feel very intuitive.

Feel free to delete this, I figured it was my browser but wanted to be absolutely sure.
