"RV Lounge" has replaced "RV CC"

Thank you to everyone that voted in the recent poll of RV Lounge vs. RV Pub for RuneVillage's new Clan Chat Channel. In the end, after 90 votes, RV Lounge won with a majority of 59% and 16 votes up on RV Pub. This means that "RV Lounge" is our new Clan Chat Channel!

So, users of RV CC, please enter RV Lounge from now on when you play RuneScape. It's exactly the same as RV CC in every way except for typing four extra letters when you log into the chat. (That, and it'll stay updated, which means more moderators at more times of the day!)

Apologies to those of you that voted for RV Pub (37 of 90 votes), but RV Lounge took the lead in this one. From what I could tell in the topic, most of the people that voted for RV Pub did so simply because it was shorter, and didn't have any real complaints with the name "RV Lounge". Yeah, you'll have to type three more letters now than you would have, but in the grand scheme of things it's not all that bad. :wink:

Once again, please log into the "RV Lounge" Clan Chat from now on. RV CC will be deactivated shortly.

lol I joined rv cc and 1 person was in there so I left that and just typed in rv lounge its so much nicer It even has a cofee table :roll:

I was lonely in Rv CC for a few hours. Hoping someone would come in.

Then BMX (Jocund) told me I was in the wrong Clan chat.

It seems more peaceful..Probably because no one really knows about it yet..Guess we see which tools don't read globals. Also ill pm you some people to put on the ignore list, I have screenshots for most of them.

Did you guys make the names before the poll? Because I tried to go into both RV Louge and RV Pub yesterday before you made this post and it didn't work.

I know for sure that RV Lounge was reserved, but I'm not sure about RV Pub (chances are it was, though).

It was probably activated today. Chat channels are not activated until the user enables them (and they can disable afterwards if they want.)

I think they are going to be called, In-game chat mods :wink:

But we never know, time will tell.

Yeah, we had both, but they had to be enabled first, and that wasn't going to happen until permissions were set up.

The owner of the previous clan chat, RV CC, was becoming pretty inactive in updating it, so some people that should have been a moderator for a few months simply weren't. Because Jagex rules don't allow the transferring of accounts, we had to create a new one with an account owner that would keep it updated. ^_^;
