Today a certain user named "Joe 301" came into the runevillage clan chat. He offended most people online and in the chat and general caused chaos within the chat. Everyone tried to calm the situtation down and was not succesful, he was asked many times by many people in the chat if he would leave as he was offending many of us. However he would not leave. Simons Pure asked a runevillage moderator (Donut Juice), he entered and tried to calm down the sitution further, however "Joe 301" would not listen and was "kicked", Dunut Juice then logged and "Joe 301" logged back in and told the runevillage clan chat about how he left himself or could get back on the chat even though he could be kicked.

This is where my problem now is, "S S 4Goten" then logged on and was greated with many of the runevillage chat asking for "Joe 301" to be kicked from the clan chat, saying they would provide evidence to why he should be kicked and that Donut Juice had unsuccesfully kicked him in the first place. Goten would not kick him and warned him instead, "Joe 301" then started been mouthy again to other people in the chat, i then informed the chat and goten that i would leave runevillage and the clan chat if this was not dealt with as it was not just me who he offended but most of the clan chat. I then said to goten, 'You need to listen more to this communitys plees and do your job better'.(Not word for word). However when i said that it was still in a very polite manner and i think that most of the chat will agree with that. I was then kicked without an explantion of any kind from the clan chat. I was entitled to my own opinion in the chat on wether or not a moderator was doing there job properlly or not. I am not just a normal user complaing, i have moderated games and there chats before and i know myself that you do not kick someone expressing there own opinion unless they are directly/indirectly offending another user. However i was not i was making a suggestion, i think that runevillage needs to think over there rules for there clan chat on runescape, what i have seen today disgusts me and i think it is really unacceptable in my eyes. A community i have trusted for a few years now has made me basically want to leave, however im not that childish and i don't plan to leave.

It is the fact that i am trying to help runevillage and benifit it in any way i can and a moderator doesn't listen to suggestions that i have to express to him/her. What makes this matter worse is that the person invloved in a runescape moderator also. Im not asking for much, but i would like an explantion on why i was kicked from the clan chat without an explantion or any warning of any kind. Please voice your opinions here.

Thanks

Spoon

Indeed the situation was handled extremly poorly. I was being flamed and baited by Joe and was constantly asking for him to be kicked. But the rule states one warning shall be given. Goten gave like 4 warnings and still didn't kick him.
Im sat here now because im banned from RV CC due to goten kicking the complete wrong person and not listening to everyone saying Joe broke the rules..

The other day he was saying my mother should be dead, Tal and Henry can back me up on that one. Stimpy also has pics i believe

Guys, you were just as bad as he was. I told you all to quit, you two continued, he continued, more warnings from me - But the point is, you guys were being just as inappropriate as he was.

Granted, I should have kicked all three of you after the first warning, but what can I say? I'm a nice guy. I logged off for a bit, logged back on, and was bombarded with "Goten kick him!"

I can't kick what I haven't seen guys. At least PM me a screenshot before getting all bent out of shape that I won't kick a user. I told you all to stop again, Joe did (go figure), yet you both kept on, refusing to quit. So I kicked you both. Joe was kicked soon after. Problem solved.

Now if you have a complaint with me, feel free to PM an Administrator. That's what you should have done with this topic, rather than post it, which is why I'm going to lock it.

Bottom line guys:
1.) Don't make a fuss in RV CC when a user's acting out and you feel he needs kicking. PM me and i'll look into it, and take action if needed. Acting out yourselves is only going to get you in trouble as well.
2.) I can't and won't kick without evidence. Just because you tell me to kick someone when I log in doesn't mean I'm going to do it. PM me a screenshot of what said user was doing inappropriate before I came on, and I'll take the appropriate action.
3.) Let things drop. Small things get blown into big things when people keep trying to top each other.
