Hi, everyone!

Lately, the account owner of the "RV CC" Clan Chat channel in RuneScape has become a bit inactive. Unfortunately for us, this means that there have been delays in assigning the correct Clan Chat ranks to our moderating team, Legends, and Staff here at RuneVillage. With Jagex policies as they stand, in order to maintain an official RuneVillage Clan Chat, our only option is create a new channel (while making sure that the owner of this one will not go inactive.)

The purpose of this global is for you, the Villagers that will be using the channel, to give input as to what channel name you think would be best. After a bit of debating behind the scenes, most of the team here at RV tend to like the name "RV Lounge". We have the Pub (forums) and the Chat already, so having the Lounge would signify a place to relax and chat with other villagers, all whilst playing RuneScape.

However, if anyone has other good ideas for the new channel name (or any reasons why we shouldn't use "RV Lounge",) this is most definitely the time and place to speak up and be heard!

Great idea. Less than 20 minutes ago stupid actions were taken by people not being able to ban a user who has been annoying everyone for the past 3 days..Possibly get a few more people in charge of the room. Alot of the times there isn't evne a single mod online.

They are working on that, Simon. We know that there are times when a MOD is not online, so actions are being taken to ensure that happens less often.

Is "Rv Chat" taken? Otherwise, "Rv Lounge" is good. In that case we'd need sofas though...

RV Chat isn't taken, but it would probably be better to distinguish RuneVillage's actual Chat from our ingame clan chat, with that name it'd be difficult.

My vote is towards "RV Lounge".

I think I should say, when I created the "Rvbb Bank" account, it was banned because of the username. the tip it's old clan channel, "tipitchat", was also banned because of it's username. It is rather surprising to me that the rv cc account is not banned because of its username. But we should be careful picking a username However, since rv cc was never banned, I think it's safe to say that having "rv" in the name should not be a problem.

Oh, and "RV Lounge" is not an available username.

Lounge sounds fine. I'll be happy with what ever you come up with, as long as it's easy to remember and has 'RV' in the name. How about "RV the pub" ? or shortly "RV Pub"? could mean 'pub' as the same meaning as it's on the forums. or it could mean short for 'public'. Multimeaning <3

"RV Bar" or "RV Lounge" would be fine for me.

EDIT: "RV Pub" sounds best and I know you're going to say we need to distinguish between the forums and the in-game chat, but I don't think we need to. "RV Pub" represents "The Pub" in-game.
