personally i think they looks really good, nice work guys gives the chat admins and mods a bit of distinction from the normal moderators of the forum.

I really like the look of the rank too, good job.

I remember a topic with a lot of different colored shield suggestions, I remember the pink shields the most.

I do like the white. ^_^

Strangely enough, as Tweedy got promoted to Chat Admin, there are no Board/Chatmods left. So currently there are no use for that rank. But I believe, as they already added the rank for that, there could be upcoming chat mod promotions. But that's just crazy person guessing the future.

Well, this certainly isn't the first time we've seen the white shields

Chat mods started out with only a single blue shield (which was lolsworthy because it looked like a lower rank than the sorceror of saradomin, a high post rank) and then they were moved up to two shields. Then those two shields became two white shields. As for chat admins (this was probably earlier, back when flumbullen and happylizard were the first two chat admins), the rank was simply three blue shields and a crown overlapping the center shield.

Eventually, people began to cry over the meaning behind the shields. Some forum mods thought that the white shields looked better, while some chat mods thought they deserved three shields. Eventually, it just became three blue shields for forum and chat mods, and four blue shields for chat admins. I don't recall ever seeing four white shields, though, but it may have happened too. But it's nice to see that chat mods are back to white shields, and three of them too goes well with their name color.

Jackstick - I don't ever recall a two shield rank for Chat Mods.

It was very brief. And I don't believe they ever had two blue shields. They had two white shields, and it lasted for like 4 days.

I remember chat mods had white shields for a day or two. Whether they were 1 or 3 I can no longer remember. But I don't think they were ever 2.

I must be going even more insane, because I recall Chat Mods having had two blue shields for a period of several weeks, if not months. I clearly remember the day they switched from 2 to 3, also...

I also remember them having 2 shields, because i can remember them complaining that forum Mods had 3 shield ranks and looked higher when they should be the same because there still mods just of chat.
