I think I saw this in a forum once, was it RuneHQ or another one, not sure,...
...but the main idea is that people will have the choice to display their current RS status (which is either Members, Nonmembers or Inactive) on their profile and message side.

Maybe in their actual Profile, but the Profile displayed in every post is becoming quite crowded.

The idea is good, but the colouring would just not fit into the message side in my opinion, because the everything is black except your RVN, which shows the type of account you have.

I mean any colour wouldn't fit, because everything but the RVN is black and even if you want to put a colour to show the status, you would need to explain what each colour represents.

How about right beside the persons RS name can be a little box like this: [P2P] for members, [F2P] for free to play or [X] for inactive.

Honestly, would it be really necessary to display if a person is f2p or p2p?

I think it would be a good idea to simply show if they are on RS or not. But how exactly do we go about making this?

How did we do it, Tom?

Most fansites that I've seen using it have another line for:

RSN: Donut Juice
RS Status: Free Player/Member/Inactive/Retired

That's what I remember then :D
I wasn't sure cuz it was gone...

And yeah the way Donut described it would be ok for me, but what's the difference between inactive and retired?
inactive=temporary retirement and retired=permanent retirement? Oh and maybe instead of "free player" put "Nonmember".

And yeah, it doesn't really matter what you are, people shouldn't judge you according to this, but it still think it is useful, because I wouldn't have to post a topic in the lumbridge lounge each time I have a temporary status change.

Inactive means your on a temporary leave, or in comparison to the amount you usually play, you're barely playing at all.

I'm inactive on RuneScape at the moment, for example. I still play, but barely at all because I forgot to renew my membership, I'll be back as soon as I do, so I'm not exactly retired. ;)

And I agree, Milo, I don't really think it's that important, but at one point it wouldn't hurt to be added, and I showed a potential way how.

no but little things that other forums have, and RV doesnt - makes a huge difference over time, for example, if RV were the first to come up with them goal sigs, We would be much more popular now.

Its just little things that close the gaps.
