Hey, I was looking at al lthe guides, and I noticed one that is missing that I personally think is semi important.

Random Events Guide?

I was thinking, because there's a bunch of randoms that I probably haven't had before, and would be interested to get. There would be also mebbe a "Most Likely" part where if you doing a skill, your chances of getting a certain random is greatest. Eg: Lederhosen from Woodcutting and Tree Spirit (Tree and Moving), Fish Troll(or something like that :p) from Fishing, Rock Golem from Mining, and Evil Chickin from Combat. Though I would have loved to do it; I'm not a member, so I can't possibly know much about any of the randoms that go secretly in there.

Think it's a good idea?

We have one, it's just old and picture less.

I'll be willing to help you with the new one, Pillow.

It is important, but I'd think it would be one of our lesser priority guides. It would be the same as writing a guide for Tutorial Island, while I don't exactly see the point to it, as (in Random Events as well) what you have to do is clearly explained to you, but I do think we should strive to have every guide.

I can grab some pictures during Random Events as well, and I'll post them here as soon as I get them.

I think all of the creatures should be in the databases, we could use monster cards to illustrate their stats and gifts/drops.

Anyway, why do we need a tutorial for a tutorial? :S

I checked, I believe they all are.

For the Tutorial Island guide, most other fansites have it, and if we want to be the most comprehensive RuneScape help site (long term goal ^_^;) we need everything. ;)

I see your point...

Anyway, is there a list of every guide we need to make anywhere?
We should really make a sticky for this kind of thing.

Not that I know of, but just look through the guides other help sites have (RuneHQ, Tip.It, Sal's Realm, etc.) and you should be able to find some guides that we need written/updated.

Thanks for the support and helping out. I would love to help :D

So, should we use database pics or in game pics that we get?

Yeah, some I've seen are from a while ago..

Yup, just a bit of lines, I think we should be able to base some of the info off that? Yeah, I have never even heard of Mystical Guards, i will definitely need some help with member randoms like I said.
EDIT: After looking a bit harder, I realized that was a category lulz

Thanks, yup

I would also say I'm sorry about what I said in my main post

I clearly haven't looked at all the guides

Well, that is completely up to you.
If you wanted something like these monster cards (bottom of the guide), they are amazingly easy to add to a guide. Alternatively, you could try to collect images of the monsters in their natural habitat (ie. attacking you whilst you fish).

Up to you.

Sure, just remember to credit all the authors of the old guide in the "Special Thanks to" section that you will put at the beginning of the guide.

That would be harder to get them all, and then it would be 100% help needed for member randoms.

Not a clue what you mean...

But, if you wanted those cards adding to the guide, they are all as good as 100% complete.

It should be easy with cards, you just need to find out why the spawn, a brief description of how to make them go away and stuff like that really.
You wouldn't need pictures, the cards will be there instead.

http://runevillage.com/listmonsters2.php

Go there, search "river troll." That is what the monster card will look like.

You don't have to worry about that. It's a feature we already have and which just displays the information found in the monster database :)
