A few months ago, we were having regular themed months, decided on by the legends. I remember that hoof tried to organize a normal user- elected month, and phailed miserably.


What happened to themed months, I ask you? Also, can the legends think of some again? Pretty please?

You do realize that themed months caused the largest riot ever in the history of RV, right?

They cause riots when they aren't controlled properly, and villagers selfishly expect their ideas to be taken without anyone else's ideas taken into consideration.

We haven't been deciding them in time.

Plus, the whole people getting mad over something as unimportant as month themes didn't really inspire us to continue.

Not to say that we won't be having theme months, it's just that we haven't had the motivation/time/whatever to decide on them recently.

The first ones were good because they were random, then it got organised and became lame. End.

We'll start the preparations for Pink Month 2: Revanche soon enough. Don't you worry about that

Neh, we just didn't got around on deciding new months. Although I'd like a second subway month, I now know where to find them in Holland ^_^

Well, we *were* planning something, but the planning topic has 8 replies, the last being before the new Legends were added. It's safe to say that might not happen now.

However, since there is obvious demand for them again...

Well I'll let you guys in on something.

We had pink month, which was fun, until lives were destroyed.

Then we had subway month, and applequest pulled a fast one and made that month very enjoyable and really amazing.

Then for october, we had a few suggestions from the public and in the legends forum. Things like rocktober, octobeard, soxtober, etc. However, due to the vast number of suggestions, and other faults, it didn't quite go well.

Then november came along, but RVBBIII pretty much took all of the thunder that november had to offer. Some people recognize november's themed month as RVBB month, and it makes sense too.

In December, I believe only the legends forum had any discussion about themed months... We had a few ideas of tv shows that we could base the theme on, but it just didn't happen...

Then in January, we just stopped trying, really.


I doubt we will ever have themed months as great as pink month or subway month. The thing that made subway month and pink month incredible was that they were both a surprise to public users. When everyone started demanding that they have a say in the themed months, the fun died very fast.

In the legends forum, I suggested that instead of having a themed month every single month, we could have RV holidays spread out over the year. An easy one would be November 8th, which is RV's birthday. We could also incorporate already existing holidays. Instead of having a pink month, we could have pink day. The reason pink month was a disaster is because every single day, there was pink... If we just smash it all in one day, people wont freak out as much. We could do things like change the RV banner from that tan color to a pink color, because its only a day. And I'm sure we could have a subway day too.

I suggest doing themed DAYS. And completely random each time, and not too often. Perhaps that may achieve the success of pink month.

But RV's so boring nowadays. The legends need to put their thinking caps on, once everyones' final exams are over. Screw the themed months, I'm sure there's other stuff that could be done?
