its a really simple change, but can we have 1 space between our last online friend and the word offline

makes it so much easier on the eyes, especially for those of us with crappy computers like me

just a suggestion, shouldnt be to hard to implement

it makes sending pm's so much easier. No need to go through the memberlist if they are offline, just 1 click in your UCP and its ready

I agree with Richboi. I use the friend system a lot as well.

The problem with the extra return never caused me any problems, actually, but now you mention it, it is only a small change, and it does make things a lot easier.

I'm gonna start using it.

Its actually quite handy once you have a lot of friends added.

So all you want to see changed is see an extra return in front of the offline?
That shouldn't be a problem... Though I don't immediately understand why that would be causing problems :-s

Note: I never used the system, so it could be that I'm just missing something obvious...

EDIT: oh right... To make the list easier to look at I guess? I have added some people who mostly happen to have a certain rank colour. I guess that's somewhat confusing from time to time...

EDIT2: well... It appears that, by default, there was a horizontal row foreseen. But with the stylesheet we are using, we suppress those so they're not visible. I edited the template file though and added in that extra return. Hope it helps you guys :)

Can anyone give me several advantages (in your opinion) and/or benefits that might come from using the friend system (not necessarily the foe system)?

I might start using it if it's actually handy.

If I'm not mistaken, it allows you to adjust the option to only see certain people's posts whether pertaining to your friend list or foe list. But seriously, I don't get the point of this whole freind/foe list.

The foe system allows you to block certain user's posts (except moderators, admins, etc.). The friend list shows up in your User Control Panel so that if you are PMing a friend, you can just click their name instead of finding it and writing it out.

It also shows what friends are online.

So does the online user list...

I've never used the friend / foe feature myself, nor do I plan on doing.
I just learnt how to type out my friends names... that's enough for me.
