Why on earth would you remove post count, after robbing us of generously giving us back our join dates?

Why does it matter?

Because we can visibly see how trustworthy a person can be. If someone hosts a giant drop party in the Party Forum, even if they joined back in 2002, if they only have 2 posts, I wouldn't trust them.

If it's not broken, why fix it? Why become like Jagex?

If you want to see someone's post count, it's in their profile. The only reason I can see for wanting to keep it publicly visible is to boost your ego in some way.

I could use the same argument for join dates. If you want join dates, check your profile, or someone else's profile. It's still here, just in Profiles.

Yet the join dates got moved back underneath the avatars.

Yes, I liked having post counts there too. It's a good way to see how trustworthy someone is.

the ranks can show how many posts a user has, all you need to do is identify which ranks are above your "safety" threshold. I believe its better this way tbh, There are no benefits to post counts when there are already rank images you can use to show how "trustworthy" a user is by their activity on the forums.

To be honest, it doesn't matter.
But when i see someone with 500+ messages i see them as a proper member, and i would recognise them after.
Post count doesn't really matter, no, definatly not, but it helps recognise the people who contribute more then others.

The only problem is having people spam up bad rep points on a person's profile. I can think of a hundred ways to get around that, but it would depend on the way the mod works, so unless you guys care for it, saying them here would be useless.

I actually love the reputation mod on other forums that I visit.

But this topic is about having post count show next to our names. Personally, I feel it should be shown. It's true that post count isn't anything majorly important, but it's still a nice thing to be able to see.

I'm starting to get annoyed at these little tweaks actually.. If the admins would get the popular opinion before making the changes, it would be appreciated. (As we did with the online banner.) It would also keep them from having to reverse anything after doing it due to dislike of the change, as was done with the join date location.

I'm actually confused as to why these changes are even happening... Why do we have to keep removing things from the side profile? theres plenty of space in there, I dont see why we have to keep cutting things out as if it were crowded.
