There are indeed two pages of posts missing, but it could've been a *LOT* worse.

It didn't eat your posts. Those posts are probably still somewhere to be found (well, not those in that topic I'm afraid though). If you want to have your postcount reinstated to what it used to be yesterday, please contact a forum admin or me (but I'm going to sleep right now).

Trust me, you guys. Glodenox went through a lot of trouble putting back the most recent posts at the cost of a few of the new ones. If he had not done so, all of your posts since August 4th to now would have been lost and people would have been more upset.

I lost like 100 posts but i'm not fussed. I just need to search out my Joker sig on my comp.

Changed it back to what it used to cool. Nice.

Simons Pure, I've checked and seen that 20 posts have gone missing. I tried to re-add them, but the message id's were already in use. I don't dare to change those id's seeing I have no idea what effect they may have on the topic and the database as a whole.

I made a small mistake when I added back the old posts, for which I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that this will be the permanent situation.

The posts you are missing are this page: http://72.36.192.235/ThePub/viewtopic.p ... 1&start=60 and the next page.

You can easily retrieve those images from the old server. Adding back the messages isn't possible though for the reason that I explained above.

Simons Pure, good news: I found out how to fix the issue and applied it to your topic.

I said that I added back all posts, and I apparently didn't make a mistake there (even if I didn't remove any recently made replies back then, there would only be 20 posts lost in total). As with everything else, the old topics that we had were 10 days behind on everything, including the counter that is used to say how many replies are made to a topic.

Therefore I'm soon going to run a big query which will most likely cripple our server for a minute or three/four, but will solve all those inconsistencies all at once, will make those invisible posts visible again and will get rid of the duplicate replies you sometimes see when going through pages.

EDIT: okay, forget about the big query. It only took a second and a half to run. It should now all be fixed though!
