I'm afraid not. If the server's security gets breached, there's little we can do about it. At that moment, they're practically able to do whatever they want.

The only thing that could be improved would be the reaction from the host as to how they would solve it. They could've easily written a script that did the exact opposite than what happened. I haven't had contact with them myself, but I guess they're lacking the knowledge to do so.

Is the crashing of the site/chat tonight related to the attacks? I'm probably going to run some sort of check while I'm packing tonight for my vacation. I'll report if I find anything.

*Edit* Ran a scan and I didn't find anything either on my laptop. :)

I use Opera and I didn't notice anything at all :D. Then again, that could be a bad thing... but I run daily scans and nothing has shown up; everything runs fine on RV as well.
