Yes because there are clearly more Americans in this thread complaining about it than saying how much they like it. I know it's a joke and personally I found it rather amusing, I just didn't see myself putting up with it for an entire month so I blocked it. I love soccer (Oh I'm sorry....football) and have for many years. This barely has anything to do now with the world cup and more on how the vuvuzela has become a meme all it's own, and has been overdone ever since it started. Also the fact that it's annoying to have something covering part of your screen while browsing the forums.

I agree that some people are over-reacting to it but it sure seems like a pretty far jump to say that it's because those certain users are American. But, you know, I'm sure we are the only ones who complained about it during the world cup.
