I never do, because I just don't see the point. Unless you really angered someone... But like everyone said, if you post, it would give it away anyways... :-s

Whenever I look at my own status it says Offline, even though I don't have the "Hide your status" set to on... Am I able to see my status at all?

The only time I've hidden my online status was when I was going back and forth to test permissions and I didn't want to confuse anyone who would see me log in and out every fifteen seconds.

Otherwise no, I never hide my status, ever.
