Who is in charge of mafia anymore? I never see bluecoat anymore..

Nobody was really in charge. We had a list of who was going to host the next game, if I recall.

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

Bluecoat was never 'in charge'

Last game we tried to organise did not get any activity. Go figure.

Well, yes, but he was the only one I knew of that was apparently interested in experimenting with game ideas etc. I figured he was a leading role - but I obviously can be wrong.

The problem right now with Mafia is that it's all the same people every game so I would imagine it gets hard to keep excited about it.

Actually it's easy to get excited about it if the right people play.

Sarcasm, i'm sure.
I get excited when you play! And when a bunch of others play!

I'm game. I keep trying to bump the old topic to get people into a new game.

I genuinely meant to help them with their site. Pyro wouldn't take it seriously when he would talk to me about changes he wanted or anything concrete to even finish. Everytime we started talking he would eventually (in a matter of minutes) get distracted by video game talk and spam the chat with lawls and insults at other chatters. Forgive me if I had a hard time dedicating my time to something that wasn't being taken seriously - obviously no content was actually going to be written. None haveyet to be seen.

Hard to post content when you deactivated the posting feature and then never reactivated it. Also, if you expect people to drop everything they're doing to watch you add and remove pictures of elephant testicles while ignoring everything you're told they want done, then you're really not the kind of person that should be in charge of ANYTHING. There were three people involved in that site other than you. Goten, Jackstick, and myself. I explained to you in full detail what I wanted and it was well established that the design fell under Jackstick. Say what you will, but it was pretty evident that we had an unreliable programmer. I distinctly remember "I'll do it when Jack is on." and "I'll do it when Goten is on." we all told you what we wanted. You never had any interest in helping. You only had interest in getting attention and looking special every time you copy/pasted a new script you found online.

I don't really see any reason for you to be anything other than Village Staff given that if you're left to your own devices you would accomplish nothing.

Do you think we want people who insult and belittle others (you) to be part of the team here?

It would appear as though some arguments have broken out over certain things, fingers are being pointed, a mysterious user came by and managed to elicit many responses from people far more intelligent than he, and users are now showing some interest towards a mafia game (myself included).

I'd be willing to help keep this site alive in any way possible. I realize I've never been all that active and I'm a terrible person as a result but if we can take this in a fresh new direction I'd definitely be down to lend a hand wherever I can!

And remember that the mafia game is not just to play mafia with the same group as you have the last 10 years or so... it's to lend activity to the Village (as it is now) and to recruit (hopefully) new members..... so be sure and invite others you know from outside the Village-- post announcements on other sites that a new mafia game is forming--

and get the 'revival' group going-- you don't need leaders or anything yet... just start bouncing ideas off one another-- put "keepers" and plans in a sticky for all to see.... "keepers" are ideas that need a major follow-up, plans are things that the group has agreed to proceed with.

This. Come on Jackstick, you have many people here willing to help save the village. Allow their ideas to fruit, allow them to actually help!

And lets stop slagging off Demon. I don't know the politics of the situation, and would rather I did't, but if he's willing to put in effort to help the Village. Script-monkey or not, we should at least allow him to help. Pointless bickering and name-calling isn't getting us anywhere.

Yay for hypocracy!!!!

Unfortunately I do not copy and pate scripts from the web. Your unrealistic expectations of overnight completion was frustrating, pyro. I'm not even going to gratify that post with a full response.
