Now that there is the "General Pictures" and "General Videos" forums I think it would be logical to add a "General Music" forum for all our musicians and listeners out there .

I don't use Picture Palace everyday, so the question is "Is this a good idea?".

While there are quite a few topics in both General Videos and Media Mansion about music, I don't think a forum is needed. When General Videos was made, the majority of General Pictures were videos. It was at the point where someone wanting to view pictures wasn't able to because of the amount of videos. This isn't exactly the case here.

Most forums have a form of a General Pictures and a General Videos forum anyway, I don't see many General Music forums.

Music is already contained within Media Mansion, (which is right below General Chat, where a General Music forum would likely go anyway.)

Just to elaborate on Jaron's point - Media Mansion currently isn't active enough to warrant an additional forum. Right now the bulk of Media Mansion is actually discussion of music, removing that would leave a shell of a forum.

Suppose it wouldn't be bad. But i'd prefer sports...

We used to have a seperate sports forum (and even a sports private usergroup), but neither of them were active. Media mansion is fine the way it is, covering TV, music, sports, and movies.

I see your point, if your happy with music in media mansion and it actually covers a large part of it then there is no point in having a separate forum for music.
