I wouldn't say anyone is worried about it, they just see it as pointless.

I stated my argument. It does no harm, and it's there for fun.

RuneHQ, Tip.it, Sals Realm, all the popular fansites have post counts, it hasn't done them any harm, and for the years we've had it, it's done no harm to use either.

I'm greatly aware of the ranks depicting post count, but the two can coexist without trouble.

Honestly, I don't care whether they're there or not. I never judged a person by his post count. The rank image is enough for me.

Guys, it's temporary. Let's not all discuss the ramifications of removing post count and get extremely angry over something that's not going to be permanent. So we've kind of jumped the gun a bit on this one. Let's all calm down and wait a week or so to have it sorted out. I'm sure you'll all be fine.

Edit: Since we all pretty much know the situation, I'm going to lock this 3 hours after my original post. If you guys want me to reopen it, feel free to PM me, but this topic has really spiraled off the main point.
