You know what? My stance on this has changed.

I would like to see this, but perhaps as "sports discussion" or something?

What's the difference? Fitness Discussion would describe a larger variety of topics, as sports fall under the Fitness category.

Just as fitness falls under sports.

Sports is a category of Fitness, but Fitness isn't a category of sports. Fitness describes all physical activity, while sports doesn't. There's a lot of physical activities that wouldn't be considered sports, but rather as Fitness, or exercise.

Jazzercise (or however it's spelled) is not a sport but is a fitness activity.

Baseball is a sport AND a fitness activity.

I think fitness would be a better fit (ah-ha-ha-ha) than sports.

It has been about 20 days. More than enough people have voted for it to become at least a usergroup... so what will it be?

It's being discussed in the uber secret mod forums.

I'll leak this to you........no decision has been officially made yet.

Sorry everyone but the official word on this is no. Since moving here from the temp forums we have been trying to cut down on the number of nonrunescape forums and usergroups and devote most of the site to being a rs fansite as originally intended. There has been one exception to that in the web designer's forum but that was brought up before we decided to cut back. I really don't feel that a fitness forum would be active enough. I think I have seen maybe 2 fitness topics in the 4 years plus that I have been here and once they are created, shutting down an inactive usergroup of forum is kind of a pain.
