This guide has a few mistakes in it. I will list what I found.

Section 1: Mining.
Runite mining:
Wasn't there a rune rock at the dark beasts at the Temple of Light of the Mournings End II quest?
Gold mining:
People rather prefer ores, not bars. This is because gold ores are mainly used to improve smithing, this in conjunction with the Goldsmith Gauntlets from the Family Crest quest. Therefore, more people buy gold ores then bars.

Section 2: Smithing.
Iron bars:
You need level 15 smithing to smith iron, not 20.
Ring of forging has 140 uses, not 160.

Section 3: Fishing
Sharks:
Prices are a bit wrong. Not 600 to 800, but 700 to 1000, raw being more expensive then cooked.

Section 5: Crafting
Flax/bowstrings:
Prices have doubled to respectively 100 for flax and 200 for bowstrings.

Section 7: Thieving
Why are dragons listed at thieving?

Section 10: Runecrafting
Maybe add that pure essence goes for 90 to 115 each, so is actually a decent way of making money.

That was all I could spot.

Most of these mistakes are there because the guide became outdated... I'll change everything you mentioned :)

EDIT: done :)

Smithing:
Quote:
To Smelt Iron Bars, all you need is Level 15 Smithing. However, there is a 50% chance that it fails, meaning that the Ore you have smelted is too impure, so you are left with nothing. To improve your chances, if you’re a Member, use Ruby Rings of Forging, which have 140 uses per Ring, meaning you can use them to smelt 160 Ore before they shatter and disappear. Rings of Forging sell for 500 to 2,000 Gold Pieces each

It's still 140 ;)

Crafting:
Quote:
For Members, Flax spinning is a good way to make Money. You can almost get yourself 1,000 Flax an hour, which is sold for 100 Gold Pieces each, however, if you spin it yourself, which requires Level 15 Crafting to turn it into Bowstring, you can easily sell the string for 200 Gold Pieces each!

It's level 10, didn't spot that at first, though.

No it's not :shifty:.

Odd that I overlooked the second 160 :?

EDIT: at first you tell me both have to be 140, I'm not getting that wrong, am I?

It is supposed to be 140. 28 ores per trip, 5 trips... 28*5 = 140. I went from 94 to 99 smithing using iron/rings of forging.

Glodenox just corrected that second one ;)

Anyways, I edited my second post to include a mistake I spotted at the flax spinning (level 10, not level 15)

In that case, everything has been corrected.

I'm locking this now.

EDIT: I'll correct that crafting mistake in a jiffy ^_^;
EDIT2: Done.
