It's pretty much perfect from a moderator viewpoint.

Circumvents all the tiresome technicalities we used to have to dance around.

Or it would, if moderating was even still a thing that happened around here.

Oh ya? 1 + 2 = 5. There, I did it. I broke the rule. Lets see how those whiny moderators and corrupt admins like this show of force.

It's kind of nice to know we're relaxed enough to know that can be our one rule and not have to worry about the nitpicky details of what constitutes rule breaking. Common sense after all.
