Inside of having to type out

Code: Select all

[b][/b]

or clicking on the thingy how about hot keys?

For example: CTR+B =

Code: Select all

[b][/b]

And CTR+I =

Code: Select all

[i][/i]

And so on and so forth.

You might want to try Alt+Shift+B in the full editor... This depends totally on your OS and your browser though.

As for Ctrl+B: I do think it's possible with JavaScript, but I'm not going to look into that right now. If someone else sees the time to improve the HTML and JavaScript of the editor, feel free to and I'll gladly add it to the template...

I used to use these a lot... but then my browser stopped supporting it.

Try CTRL+ALT+T to make a bulletpoints for a list and I think CTRL+ALT+L was for a URL.
