Rules:
1. Do not discuss the game outside of the game topic unless your role PM explicitly allows you to do so.
2. You may roleclaim, and you may paraphrase your PM. But there has been a lot of PM semantics of late, and this is not in the spirit of the game. If you quote your PM, word for word, you will be modkilled.
3. Only votes that are in bold are counted.
4. Do not post after you have died. The way of the ODP has gone.
5. Do not discuss the game outside of the game topic after you have died unless you are communicating directly with another dead player.
6. Lynching someone requires a majority of the remaining players' votes.
7. Do not post during the night phase. If you have a question or comment, please PM me or wait til the next day phase.
8. Do not edit your posts. If necessary, double and/or triple post.
9. Do not harass, belittle, taunt, or bully any other player in any way. Remember that you should be attacking a person's arguments and reasoning, not the person themselves. Be respectful.
10. Days and nights do not have set lengths but generally will be ~72 hours and ~36 hours, respectively.
11. The Rules are subject to change, addition, and subtraction at any time in case I mess up.

I reserve the right to enact consequences when I feel someone has broken any of these rules. If you have any questions whatsoever, please PM me. Questions posed to me in the thread may not be answered, within the thread or otherwise.

A grizzled old man, of somewhat respectable age, was seen tucking his young grandson in to bed on a warm summer night.

"Pa?"

"What?"

"Can you tell me a bedtime story?"

A bedtime story. There used to be days when the very second a man stopped moving, he would drop unconscious from exhaustion. Children of today expect bedtime stories? The old man stroked his beard, as he recalled a time of great strife. A time of confusion. A time of murder, fear, and oppression. When a whole neighborhood was thrust into chaos as gangsters, goons, and scum moved amongst them.

The elderly man decided now was the time to teach his grandson a lesson. Would it be one of righteousness? Or one of the triumph of evil?

"Oh, I'll tell you a story."

"Yaaaay!" The boy exclaimed.

"Now, I haven't told anyone else this story. Not your mom, your dad, or anyone. This is a true story, it is something that happened to me when I used to live in the city. You cannot tell your parents or anyone about what happened. It's very serious. Do you understand?"

Excited at the prospect of being part of a grown-up pact, the boy only nodded.

"That's a good boy. Now, back in the 50s, it was a time of booming growth. It was also a time of organized crime, murders, gambling, drugs, women..." Most of this was lost on the boy; only the real violence would interest him. "Let me tell you what happened the day the mafia moved in to our town..."

Yuki was waiting for the closed space to appear. Based on recent trends in Haruhi Suzumiya's mental stability situation and Kyon's inability to arrive on time for 83.6% of SOS Brigade activities, there was a 94.4% chance this turn of events would occur. She glanced at the group from inside an unpopulated building across the street. The Yuki that was currently at Haruhi's side was a hologram of sorts. No further explanation was needed. The real Nagato raised her hand and spoke something at an incredibly fast speed. There was a small flash of light inside the building, and when it faded, she had entered the closed space. She tilted her head once, taking everything in in only a mere second. "Attribute: Closed space. Diameter: Two miles. Expansion rate: Unkown."

Ex Rex is trying too hard to make the world a better place. He's only doing it to avoid suspicion.

He also thinks he can change the world, but all he's trying to do is prune one fool from the village. All he's doing is treating a symptom while the disease rages on, consumes the human race. The fish rots from the head, so they say. So I'm thinking, why not cut off the head?
