Rules:

NO posting after death, period.

Day phases last 72 hours or until a majority vote is reached, and Night phases last 36 hours or until all night actions have been submitted. The only exceptions to this rule will be if we incur some significant downtime, and if that happens I'll announce an extension.

No sharing any part of your role PM. Any attempt to "prove" your role must be done through your words and actions inside the game.

All lynch votes must be in bold font. By the same token, any names in bold font are assumed to be lynch votes.

No editing your posts. If you forget something, add it in a new post. (But at least think about it before you hit the submit button, because triple- and quadruple-posting is ridiculous).

Be courteous to all other players. We have several newcomers and people that rarely play in this game, and I will not allow "veterans" to lambast other players under the guise of "having more experience". You are free to disagree or try to disprove someone's point. You are not free to flame him or her over it.

Jackstick: Muffin! Oh man, I'm glad I ran into you.

Muffin Attak: What's up? Did you want to play another game of Monopoly?

Jackstick: Listen, something terr- ...Oh, sure! Let's see if we can get two more people to play wi- ...I mean, wait, no! This is important, we can't play Monopoly right now! Something terrible has happened. I found Judge Frank dead this morning.

Muffin Attak: The judge is dead?! My God, who could have done this?

Jackstick: That's the thing - I don't know. I know it wasn't you, because you and I were playing Monopoly last night, but I can't be sure about anyone else.

Muffin Attak: Aghh, then it's the goddamn Mafia. They've risen once again, after all these years!

Jackstick: I suspect they are indeed back, but for some reason I feel like this particular incident is the work of someone else.

Muffin Attak: What makes you say that? Don't you remember how the Mafia terrorized our people, how they almost took control of the whole town? You've softened up, Jack.

Jackstick: Don't be absurd, I could never forget such dark times! But haven't you noticed anything strange, lately? It's like something is sucking the life out of our townspeople. They are withdrawn, distracted, like something has consumed their mind. There's something else out there, Muffin. Something that poses a threat to everyone in our town.

Muffin Attak: What are you saying?

Jackstick: I've been doing some investigating of my own, as the Nocturnal Detective. I'm still not sure if this murder was carried out by an ordinary citizen or a Mafia, but that's not the most important part. Judge Frank wasn't merely killed. His soul was ripped right out of his body. These methods are very unusual. Do you think the Mafia possesses such power? Whoever killed Frank, no matter who they were, must have been acting on behalf of another entity.

Muffin Attak: No offense Jack, but this other "entity" you speak of... kind of sounds like a Demon. You know those aren't real, right?

Jackstick: Yeah, of course I know that. And yet... I'm not sure. How else could Frank have died the way he did?

Muffin Attak: And I suppose this Demon of yours is also responsible for the apparent strange demeanor in the significant portion of our population?

Jackstick: I know it sounds crazy, but...

Muffin Attak: Jack, you could be hanged for spewing such nonsense! Lucky for you, no one ever takes the Nocturnal Detective seriously.

Jackstick: Well, they should! Honestly, I think I'm really on to something here!

Muffin Attak: Right, I'm sure that's what you think. Anyway, next time we should probably discuss this at your house, not in broad daylight in the middle of town. I'm pretty sure everyone here heard our whole conversation.
