[RP] CC Battlefield: God Tiers

OOC: The idea for this battlefield is simple; you create your own character (hence the CC in the title), and fight other people's characters. In contrast to the numbered series though, this BF only has two rules and a request:

Rule: No autohitting (If you break this rule without explicit permission from your opponent, I reserve the right to strip your character of his powers)
Rule: If no valid reason is given, a combatant is allowed an auto-hit on his opponent if he hasn't responded to the attack before three days have passed.
Request: Keep your character to a specific theme (IE wind, time, light etc).

For anything else, let your imagination run wild! No limits!

The setting is an identical copy of Earth (and by extent the entire Milky Way) devoid of non-plant life, the start being in central Times Square. Character sheets are optional, but recommended to create some sort of background or description for your character.

As for my character;

Name: Jkae'gulb (referred to as Jake)
Theme: Space
Age: Unknown (Appears 17)
Description: Jake prefers to take the form of a young adolescent male; Around 1,65 meters in length, slightly skinny with rather long, down-spiked hair so dark it resembles a hole in space, eyes that faintly glow a dark purple, and an overall surfer-esque look to him. He can change his appearance as he pleases, however. He also has a slight echo in his voice whenever he speaks, and his footsteps leave no print.

IC: "Duuuuuuuude, where did I end up this time?" Jake said as he found himself in a large city filled with skyscrapers. Jake went to a nearby public bench and lay on it, staring at the sun in the sky. "Guess there's nothing to do but wait for the others." He mumbled, folding his arms behind his head.

IC: A figure, moving so fast as to appear as a mere black shape, soared blade first through the picture window of a restaurant behind the bench on which Jake sat. The short sword in his hand was aimed at the back of the boy's neck and ready to kill.

OOC: He's actually lying down on the bench, so I take it as just heading for his neck then.

IC: "Aw dude, not cool!" Jake said as he heard a shattering of the window behind him. In a split second Jake, the bench and a fair amount of the ground beneath had vanished, only to reappear in the air slightly above the crater, while Jake stood up from the couch. "You ruined my nap!"

Vasten's target and his surrounding suddenly vanished. Frowning, he broke his charge with a roll and looked up at the floating bench.

Dusting off his regal-looking purple clothes, Vasten smirked. "This is no time for slumber."

With a flicker of the wrist, Vasten's short sword rocketed towards Jake's face, while Vasten himself flickered and appeared behind the floating bench with a spinning side kick to the back.

Name: Drakk'nod "Starmaker"
Theme: Fire(all forms of fire)
Age: 347 Earth Years
Description: Drakk'nod is a 3 meter tall humanoid. He has reddish skin, and golden hair. His eyes alternate between gold, red, blue, and white. His arms are about a meter long. He spends most of his time going to dust clouds and creating stars there. On occasion, he visits inhabited worlds for a rest. His voice a slight hum to it. He can breath in space, and he has a large space ship that he parked behind jupiter for now. He flew with a personal propulsion system to get here(in essance, he can fly).

IC: Drakk'nod touched ground in a city. He looked, and immediately saw two people fighting. Wow, my first step on this planet and already I see a fight happening. He decided to sit back, and see who the winner would be.

"All the time is time for sleep man, no exceptions. Also, catch." Jake said, shrinking to a tenth of his original size, which made the sword previously inbound to his face now fly off in the general direction of his attacker.

His reflexes as fast as ever, Vasten caught his blade by the handle, and with a flicker repositioned himself to be standing on the top edge of the bench overtop the small Jake.

"BATTLE TECHNIQUE: BLADE FLURRY!" Vasten began jabbing downward wildly with his sword at an incredible pace, such that it appeared to be a hundred blades at once.

"Ouch, why so loud man?!" Jake said while rubbing his ear and reverting back to normal size, as the bench began to grow massively in height, resulting in the stabs merely piercing into thin air.

"Yup, sure showed me your stabs alright." Jake noted, as the part of the bench Vasten stood on rapidly grew sharp spikes.

The instant Vasten felt something begin to push up on the soles of his shoes, he dove off the back of the bench. As he soared downward, cuts rapidly appeared in the elongated bench, splintering it into pieces that rained down.

The instant Vasten hit the ground, he seemed to vanish again and appeared a good twenty feet away, in the middle of the barren street. Out of the fray momentarily, Vasten's head cleared. He glanced down the street and saw another figure waiting there.

"HEY!" he shouted. "AREN'T YOU GOING TO JOIN IN? OR...." with a flicker, Vasten appeared immediately in front of Drakk'nod, blade held sideways in front of him. "do I have to come to you?" he finished, slashing at his throat.

"Heh, kind of a wuss aren't you?" Jake said, adding the area the two were on to his little floating island. The falling shards from the bench then appeared above the two. While still falling, they didn't seem to get any closer to hitting them, yet it was clear they weren't floating in midair like the rest of the platform, and still gaining momentum.

OOC: One thing I've forgotten to put in the opening post and will be in effect as of this one, there's also going to be a "three-day rule" to posting, meaning that, if no valid reason is given, a combatant is allowed an auto-hit on his opponent if he hasn't responded to the attack before three days have passed.

One of the men appeared in front of him and slashed at him. Drakk'nod backed up. He didn't like getting told what to do, or being attacked, so he started radiating heat from his body. "Get away from me. Now!" He then noticed that they were now on a floating island. Great, gravitation disorders and fighting. What next?

His swipe hitting air, Vasten noticed his surrounding change, and the shards from his earlier attack floating around him. Strange... they're gathering potential energy... Of course!

Vasten quickly leaped with a flicker to the top of a nearby lightpost coming out of the actual ground, and not the floating slab of land. The blade in his hand began to vibrate rapidly. He began to speak, his words aimed at no-one in particular.

"My blade is called the Supersonic Tanto... Would you hazard a guess why?" Vasten's body flickered for an instant, but he didn't appear to move. However, the skyscraper immediatley behind him roared loudly, and the top half began to slide off towards the battle. "That might have something to do with it."

And then Vasten was gone.

"Maaaaan, don't talk all serious-like like that, chill out a bit dude. I've got some stuff to help you with that if you want. That is, if I don't, like, kill you, which is a bit more likely. Oh well. And what the hell is a Tanto anyway, some sort of circus act?" Jake said as he carelessly released the shards onto Blondie, which is how he's decided to call the other guy.

Deciding just now to actually look at the direction he heard Mr. Serious speak from, he noticed the top half of the skyscraper heading into his direction. "Ah dude! Who's going to clean up the freaking mess you're making? First you break through a window, then you break apart my pretty flying mega-bench, and now you're dumping a freaking building? Jeez man, learn to have some respect for the environment! God..." Jake sighed, as he appeared on top of the skyscraper, riding it like a surfboard for no apparent reason. "Oh well, no reason to not have fun while breaking stuff, huh?"

Vasten burst through the ceiling of the skyscraper, appearing to hover in front of Jake, but his body keeping a constant flicker. "Your words disgust me. Know your place! You stand before Vasten Knaap, Lord of Speed!"

The ground beneath Jake was suddenly lacerated immediately, crumbling and cracking as to create uneven footing. Vasten swung his humming sword at his foe's kneecaps. "KNEEL!"

"Aah, finally we get an introduction. 'bout freakin' time man. Can't tell you my actual name as it would cause your hearing to burst into tiny bits of Speed Lord, but it's kind of similar to "Jkae'gulb", though you can call me Jake to keep it simple. I like simple."

The air between Jake and Vasten seemed to distort a bit, after which Jake appeared a few feet back, while apparently walking on thin air. "I should probably mention that I'm on a holiday from my actual home beyond the veil of space. Gotta admit your reality is pretty sweet. Oh, and before I forget, get yourself a new title man! Lord of Speed sounds like you're some sort of raver type. I don't like raves."

Jake carelessly swung one arm in an upwards motion, causing the skyscraper scraps to stop falling, and expand upwards in size. "I could give this trick a name like "Battle Technique: Size Increaser", but I don't really see a reason to do so."

As the shards flew towards Drakk'nod, he increased his heat output by 700%, instantly vaporizing the shards. "So, you people like to fight, eh? My name is Drakk'nod "Starmaker". Fear my power!" He sent a burst of fire towards both men, while keeping his heat radiation at about the same as a cooled dwarf star.

Not hearing a word Starmaker said due to him being at the base of the collapsing skyscraper the fight was occuring atop, Vasten dove out of the way of the rising rubble pieces. He flickered as he did, and in the blink of an eye the larger pieces were diced smaller again.

"BATTLE TECHNIQUE: MOMENTUM LAUNCH" Vasten swung his sword at the air, a movement so fast it appeared only as a brief arc in front of him, and all of the sliced rubble bits from the top of the skyscraper launched at Jake with equal velocity to that of the swing.

Feeling an approaching heat behind him, Vasten flash-stepped behind the skyscraper, and fiercly kicked it, sending the detached top half toppling down at Starmaker. He then relocated to the top of an adjacent skyscraper to re-gauge the situation.

Jake winced a little as he was hit by the rubble which was now around the size of some grains of sand, and sighed in mild irritation. "Look man, if you're going to try and kill me, you should really- wait, where are you going? I wasn't finished talking to you yet dude! Jeez..." Suddenly, the air in front of him began to glow red somewhat.

"That's not good. That's not good at all." he said, appearing on the ground and picking up a few grains of sand. He then proceeded to throw them at Starmaker in Vasten's absence. As they twirled through the air, they began to rapidly increase in size, until they each were about as big as the restaurant Vasten came from at the start of the fight, but still moving with the same speed they were thrown at.

"Hey wait, so you're the one who made those pretty twinklers in the sky?. Oh, I see you're busy, you can answer me after you finish getting hit by rocks then." Jake said, snickering a bit.

Drakk'nod shot fire downward, using it to propel himself about fifty feet into the air, and fifty feet back, and hover there. He increased his heat radiation again to a high point, so as to melt the skyscraper as it fell toward him. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a tube of some type of metal, and forced bursts of flames out of it, aiming toward Vasten and Jake.

The annoying boy that could make stuff grow larger had moved to engage the one that shot fire. This was an ideal situation, but it seemed they were not ready to let him skip the battle yet. Starmaker rose into the air and launched a blast of fire in Vasten's direction.

But he was gone before it got anywhere near him. Vasten flickered to a point about the exact same distance he had been from Starmaker, but in the other direction, behind him. What appeared to be teleportation on his part was actually extremely fast movement... and he possessed the ability to take that momentum and convert it into pure destructive energy.

Turning around and swinging his sword, Vasten shouted "BATTLE TECHNIQUE: VELOCITY CONVERSION!" A massive laser of purple destructive energy erupted from his sword, launching at Starmaker from behind.
