Mafia: Lightning Round I

The Rules:

• Unless altered or contradicted below, all standard rules apply.
• Day phases last from 12pm CDT to 12am CDT.
• Night Phases last from 12am CDT to 12pm CDT.
• Night roles may send their PMs early (during the day prior) if they know their target beforehand, as night may now fall at a more inconvenient time.
• Complete deadline lynching is in effect: The person with the most votes at the end of the day will be lynched. In case of a draw, no one will be lynched.
• Players may vote for "no lynch." At the end of the day, if "no lynch" has more votes than any player, no one will be lynched.
• Players may also "unvote," by which they do not cast a vote for a lynch themselves, but also do not contribute a vote for "no lynch."
• If a a majority of votes is reached, the death of that person is guaranteed, regardless of point in the day. The day will still end at 12am CDT, but all new and changed votes after the majority had been reached will not matter.

Day 1: 12 players, 7 votes to lynch.

Day breaks and the villagers awake to find the mayor of their town brutally murdered. A note left behind claims a new band of leaders will be taking over. Enraged, the village vows to find them and hang them. Taking a hint, these villains keep to the shadows, hiding amongst the town until their numbers are more suited to open conflict. Who will prevail?

Day 1 ends at 12am CDT in approximately 12 hours.

Guys, I'm gonna go ahead and roleclaim. I'm the doctor with vigilante/daytime detective powers. I investigated kikori and he turned up scum. Am also gonna protect him and vigkill him tonight. Then will become invincible til last day and come out of nowhere to win the game after not posting again until it's time to hammervote any and all players close to a lynch.

On a serious note, I'm of the opinion we should go for a No lynch for today. It'll surprise me if RV mafia manages to get serious D1 quick enough for anything to happen, quit frankly.
