Has anyone read any of his books? I've read Revelation Space, Pushing Ice, and I've read half of Chasm City, and I'm about to start Galactic North. I picked him up by sheer luck, I suppose. I wanted something new and not my usual Fantasy Genre, and say him. I've got a couple others by him too.

For those that don't know, obviously he writes in the Sci-Fi genre, but it's not Star Warsy, where it's space battles, and pulse pistols, it's more realistic, in the sense of no faster than light speeds, and nothing majorly out there, apart from that Man has reached further than our current Solar System. His books are normally set in around... 2500 or so, but some are later, some are earlier (Pushing Ice starts in 2052, and ends in 2090, relative to the characters, or around... well, about 30,000 years later, lol). All the books are relative to each other, in the sense of that they are all set in our universe, and some worlds will be mentioned in several books, like a planet called Yellowstone. Also, there are different... breeds, i suppose would be the best word, of Humans, like one called the Ultras, which have had a lot of customisations to their bodies, and have evolved appropriate to adjust to it, which are used throughout.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had read the books by him, there's a new one called "House of Suns" out, which I haven't read, as Hard Books are expensive, lol.
