Hello, I'm Wish. I'm about a week or two old here. DOn't let the post count fool you, because I joined 3 days after the forum crash. Well, many people have trouble writing poetry, so this guide is to help... Duh...

Anwyays, I enjoy writing too, and MIGHT get an RS story made by me and my friend into the Library.

SO, here it goes...

When writing poetry, you need a topic first. In this one, how about... Snow, lol.

Now, we need to figure out every word that rhymes with snow.

Throw
Grow
Row
Low
Know
No (We won't include this since it's pronounced the same as Know...)
Flow

Well that's plenty. Now we need to put them together. And put lines between the rhyming lines.

Winter time; the time of snow.
The time has came, at last.
The amount of it will grow and grow.

Now you need to rhyme the second line...

Fast
Cast
Blast-I think I'll go with that.

Alrighty, Part 1 is done. After four lines, I suggest entering twice and writing another four lines. Well, that's it for the basic Poetry tutorial!

And yes, that poem was more crappy then crap.

This is a decent "GUide" to Poetry, however sometimes its best not to use the same word more than once, Poets pride themselves in their ability to use a bit more "Advance" vocabulary, try finding synonyms in a dictionary or thesaurus

You used time like 3 times each poem man, but they're still good, however using the same word a lot is a bit frowned upon in any form of literacy!
