This is the start of my story, The Lair Of The Beast, tell me what you think.

Prologue- the Dream
Fire gushed out of the ugly, 3-headed black dragon, more commonly known as the King of Dragons, or the King Black Dragon. The man put up his shield and it absorbed some of the blow, but he still got scorched from the breath. He ignored the blisters that soon followed and struck at one of his front legs. The dragon howled in pain, and then renewed the attack. All 3 of his large heads dived in to produce the final blow, and I could see the fear and hopelessness in his eyes………

Chapter 1- an old Friend, a new enemy.

“Arrrrrggghhhh!” I woke up screaming and I was covered in sweat.
Panting, I lay back on the bed in my mansion and waited for my heart to calm down and stop beating franticly.
While I waited I tried to remember what the dream was about this time.
Fire. A big black dragon. 3 heads.
The same dream I had been having for over 2 months now, and it always was about a warrior in Rune armour and a Dragon medium helm, trying to kill the King Black Dragon.

“Why is he fighting the dragon? What purpose made him foolish enough to try and take him on? Was it for fame, or for riches?” I thought as I got out of my bed, put on my Adamant armour and left my house via the portal in my garden.

I appeared out side an identical portal just north of the druid village of Taverly.
Someone’s words broke through my thoughts. “HEY, SHADOW! Over here!” it was my old friend and ally, Switcha1, running over the large White Wolf Mountain, known for the White Wolves that lived on it.
“Hey, Switcha! What are you doing going over the mountain? I thought you could go under it using the dwarf tunnel?” I called back.

In case you haven’t noticed, my name is Shadow12564, or shadow for short. I wear adamantite armour, and although I have killed Elvarg and earned the right to wear Rune, I don’t have the money to, so I have spent the past few days making potions to sell.

“I’ve been training my ranging on the Ice Warriors by that trapdoor, they can’t fight back!” he laughed.
I also laughed and waited while he got down off the mountain. “The only problem about it is the fact I ran out of Law Runes to Telekinetic Grab my…” he broke off as we were suddenly frozen in a block of ice.

Somebody suddenly appeared from the trapdoor that leads to the dwarf tunnel.
“Looks like free stuff for me…he muttered,
“Who are you?” I asked him. In the corner of my eye I could see Switcha looking at some Law runes on the ground. He must have had some left over after all!
“Sorry, I forgot to introduce my self…my name is The Reaper, and you are my Victims! Now, give me the stuff you currently have!” said the Reaper.
The block of ice suddenly melted. I fervently thanked Saradomin that the spell only lasts 20 seconds, while Switcha quickly pulled 10 Air Runes and the Law Runes from the ground and threw 5 Airs to me and 1 Law.
“Camelot Teleport!” we both shouted in unison.
“No!” shouted The Reaper as we materialised away….

Chapter 2- a mystery begins
We re-materialised on the path outside the Camelot Castle, and we could still see the White Wolf Mountain, quite far in the distance, but still not far enough.

“Why did that guy attack us?” I asked.
“I‘m not sure, but he has broken Saradomin’s rule: he attacked us outside of the Wilderness, so he must follow Zamorak.” Switcha replied.

We shuddered at the thought.
Zamorak was the God of Evil, and his followers could go anything they wanted, until the Saradominists stop them. Zamorak’s followers were Necromancers, Chaos Druids and evil Monks.

Saradomin was the God of Good, and he didn’t actively interfere with human lives, unlike Zamorak. His followers were every day people and adventurers like me, and the good Monks.

The final God was Guthix, the God of Balance. He sometimes interfered to stop either of the 2 Gods from fully taking over.
His followers were the all knowing Seers who could predict the future, and the Druids who would make various potions in their city of Taverly, where my house was located. The Seers could be found in their Village, just West of Camelot Castle.

*I bet the Seers could help us* I thought.
“Come on Switcha, let’s go to Seers Village and ask the Seers what they think of this mysterious person called ‘The Reaper’” I said out loud.
We followed the path west for about 30 seconds and got to the village. The first things we could see were the Party Hall on the left and the Seers Bank on the left. We went past the Hall, and went slightly south-west to go to the house were, upstairs, people would make bowstrings. We went up the stairs, and went though the door next to the wheel.

“Wanna buy 10,000 bowstrings?” someone said, their voice breaking though my thoughts. “No thank you, we here to see Sin Seer, to see if she can help us with a mystery.” we replied.
“She won’t talk to you. By the way, my name is Lovin Bows.” She replied.
“Hi Lovin Bows. Can you tell us why she won’t speak to us?” I asked.
“Sin Seer’s really grumpy; she always says ‘your sins, they blind me’ you need to give her a cup of Tea and a Cake to make her think that she mistook you for someone else; she’s blind, you know” Lovin Bows replied.
“Thank you. Do you wanna join our group? We're trying to figure out why a guy called The Reaper attacked us.” I replied.
“Okay. by the way, don’t bother getting any Tea or Cake; I got some here with me anyway.” She replied.
“Come on then. Hey Switcha, will you wait outside so we can speak to her without any one eavesdropping? Switcha?” I looked around at where Switcha had been. He wasn’t there. He had been kidnapped while I was talking to Loving Bows.
