I sat in a cold dark room, with nothing in my life,
People would walk past me, without a single glance.
I sat there on my couch, asking why I must be sad,
When one day a lovely angel came to claim my heart.
Everything was gone, life did matter not,
But when that angel came, I smiled once again.
I treasured every word she spoke, I kept it close at heart.
A man who once had nothing, I suddenly had it all.
My soul was filled with love, my hatred and sorrow gone.
I made a wish that night, wishing for one thing.
I wished to be loved again, by someone who loved me.
I wished for happiness, and I was given plenty of it.
Many days have passed, since that winter night.
December twenty-second, the best day of my life.
My angel said she wanted me, and I was filled with joy.
Whenever I am down, I need only note one thing.
There is a girl whom loves me, and I love her as well.
She tells me I have two hearts. That one of them is hers.
But this is not true, for I know there is only one.
