Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

This.

It's not a big deal, say you had spare powder in your pack or something. It's not that big of a deal.

Surely you can get more flash powder later...
Not that it's super-vital or anything.

Or like I said before, you could try instead to learn some kind of magic abilities that would aid along the lines of a rogue type character. Stuff in the lines of Kyrina's light manipulation things might work for that.
Either that or develop new tricks, but I think there's easily room to grow rather than just quit.

I was kind of considering some sort of time-bending magics, to make it seem like I would be teleporting/moving faster than the average person... But I'm not sure how well that would go over, plus, in this worlds magic, time slowing would probably be a massive energy exertion.

However the rain of fire dodged the allied people, Tory didn't know. He just had a problem of having to try to sidestep and jump away from what was coming down. He nearly made it without a scratch, but jumping away from one stone caused another to blast him right in his right arm. The cry of pain was loud and nearly shrill, but Tory suddenly stopped and looked at his wounded limb. Soon, a slightly insane smile took over his face. "Yes..."

Placing his free hand on the wounded arm, he started concentrating. He was a master of mutation, right? A legion of beings were at his command because of it... Why couldn't HE have his own power? Even that great oaf wouldn't be able to stop him! "Come on!" Releasing his hand from the arm, the limb suddenly bulged, twisted, and flexed its way into becoming a blade of muscle and steel-like ivory. A living weapon on his own arm, and even better, everyone was coming to him and what remained of his toxic creatures. "Bring it on, fools!"

OOC: Tory's officially insane from all the darkening of his mind he's allowed in such a brief time. :p

OOC: Well played, kikori. Well played.

BIC: Caston was nearing the end of his air bridge. He was pleased that Grageon was following, the group seemed to have the right idea. He had run harmlessly over the bulk of the corroded creatures.

Tahu and Adam's blast had mangled Tory's arm, but that hardly phased him. He molded his own flesh into some kind of bone-saber.

The last step was between four and five feet in the air, and was about that distance from Tory. Caston jumped from the stair, mustering an air cushion beneath him to break his fall should things go awry. He whirled his staff and brought it down with all his strength, aiming for the top of Tory's head.

"Wait, where...?" As he was mutating his arm, much of the party seemed to be further along the path of air than he expected. Caston, the leader, had taken point and was now already nearly down upon Tory's head. "Gah!" Out of sheer instinct, Tory slashed his arm upward, catching Caston's staff at an angle and catching the blade lightly into the wood. It was far more dense than he thought, and not breaking as Tory struggled to push against Caston's descent, trying to hold him still as what creatures were on Tory's side soon began hopping and crawling in an attempt to storm Caston.

As the controller turned to block Caston's attack, Tahu and Mabel charged in from the other side, Mabel's bispear lengthening to full extension, forming a lance. She stayed on her horse and maintained a straight line to the controller, aiming to impale him on the blade, while Tahu jumped off his horse, drew his sword, and ran in under the bispear, closing to sword distance.

OOC: I'm going to assume this will be allowed, if not, I'll delete it.

BIC: Jarrett didn't want any creatures getting in the way of Caston's fight. They either needed that insane kid dead or prisoner. Before the animals could get any closer, he opened a trench right below them, so they fell. There was still the matter of the platform Caston was on.

OOC: I'm going to assume that the creatures were trying to encircle him, thus when I opened the trench, you are on the afore mentioned platform, instead of a scar in the ground, amirite?

Caston jerked his staff from Tory's blade. It had been a little damaged, but not irreparably so.

He managed to free his staff as his feet found the ground. He had head a noise and felt a rumble...he assumed that Jarrett was finally making himself useful. With a quick glance back out of the corner of his eye, he watched as many of the creatures disappeared into the chasm that Jarrett had opened. To top it off, Caston took the manipulated air he had used for the steps and transformed the whole air bridge into one big, long razor wind. The air slashed downward into the crevice, presumably killing a number of the creatures who had fallen in.

Caston turned his attention back to Tory. He took the opposite end of his staff and swung low at Tory's feet, attempting to trip the maniacal Black Wizard.
