Pretty good but it's worth a shot. I am largely doing this for your benefit though, since I am pretty sure the mafia has to be Frank at this point.

You're just as likely to not have any of said items and/or having gotten rid of them already for this exact purpose. I should also point out how convenient it is that you tracked Pyro. Did you *really* believe he was mafia?

Actually using the glass is only one part of the benefits of this exchange. It will also confirm to you I am telling the truth about several things.

I tracked Pyro because 1. I didn't really have a clue who was mafia last night, just that it probably wasn't you or Thr. and 2. Getting a read on Pyro is notoriously difficult.

At any rate I didn't expect him to die, but at the very least I'd have known that he didn't kill Thr.

Makes plenty of sense to me. You had said that your watching item was spent, and killing Thr makes me look suspicious. (Mission accomplished?)

My immediate gut feeling is that Lander used the Coal already, or dropped it/lost it, and that's why the trade failed. I've got the Magnifying Glass alright so what gives?

Suddenly I've got a sick feeling Lander is trying to play me, but I don't understand why he would bus Spiro like that on Day 2 then...

I think it's time everyone else comes clean though, I've done my part.

Problem with this plan is that I destroy any item that isn't a snowball that comes into contact with me. That was one of the other abilities I have...

I started with 2 snowballs add had one stolen off me night 1

The way frank has ducked out of this and is just letting it play out makes me think he's mafia now.

Well that's a problem. My main suspicion has changed from Frank to Lander after the failed trade. Depending on what Frank says I might offer the trade to him.

My other option is to use my ability on Lander to see if he indeed has the coal. But I'd like to hear from Frank first.

Well Lander I felt, at least at that time, that it was rather pointless to come forward. You guys had a decent plan to figure out who is who. Didn't feel like it mattered much at all for me to come forward. However, forces dictate that it's appropriate that I do come forward. I am the Elf Foreman. I was given two items to start the game, one of which I still possess. I still have the coal I advertised D1. My second item was a mistletoe which is a single use item that allows me to distract a player and steal an item from their inventory. I used the item on Aragorn and stole a "Snowball" from him. The snowball acts as a roleblocking item during a phase of the game. (Day or Night.)

I do not know why Aragorn has decided to not be upfront with what happened to him. But I do know that I stole a roleblocking item from him and he hasn't told anyone about losing an item. Which brings me to his comment:

That's certainly not the immediate response I would have. Why would he use the coal and then offer to trade it? Lander clearly would have known that he used it... It's his item...

Now since I've typed this all up I see that Aragorn has finally come forward with his item story.

Did you use the Snowball on me last night Frank? I was roleblocked. At least this confirms there is a roleblocking item in the game though, wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for another to be out there.

Lander knows I have the Gingerbread Cookie though, so he probably won't like that plan because I could tamper with it by canceling out his Coal. If we go through with that plan, I will cooperate and use my cookie on someone else, I guess.

Frank I mentioned the snowballs in the post before yours. I don't want to give the mafia any unnecessary advantage so I've held a few details back. I had a snowball taken night 1 and used mine yesterday.
