Q - Venomous Gale: Single use night kill, due to its long cooldown.
W - Poison Sting: A passive that puts a rather long-lasting debuff on opponents. In this case? For the duration of the night on the last person I vote for in a day (Thr in this case), the person can not be protected by doctors for that night or the next. 'cause, you know, it has synergy with my Q.
E - Plague Ward: A ward that spits poison at any enemies I have is placed. I'll be honest, I was hoping this was the only spell I'd get with a main focus on killing invaders in the night, but he's sticking with Dota mechanics. I have to have Poison Sting "active" (as opposed to leveled in-game, it has to be applied to someone) for them to be hurt by it. If I guess right and sting a Mafia? I'm bulletproof from them for a night I feel threatened.
R - Poison Nova: Upon my death, everyone involved in my lynch or the person who night killed me will suffer a ton of poison. Unfortunately, it's never lethal. So (and we're back to my passive's synergy) only any Poison Sting victims will be killed.

The long and the short of it is, I'm a ticking time bomb that will try to take anyone I think's Mafia down with me when I die. And I can only do that by voting for people at the end of the day. I'd rather get the lynches, honestly, but damned if I'm not happy with trying to mark a potential Jester for death. Mafia would love to give him a win, some villagers will always want to avoid the lynch on him, and it's always a potential Mafia cover.

Kikori's role sounds more third party than town/mafia to me.

I was thinking that same thing, but I wouldn't pass it up for a Mafia role either. One shot kill, and the possibility to take people out with you when you get lynched? Not necessarily scummy, but would certainly be an aid to the mafia.

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

It's not exactly that I kill everyone who lynches me.

Anyone who has my vote on them at the end of the day will (unless Bluecoat prevents it. Dick <3) be under the effect of Poison Sting. Loss of protection from kills for the night. This, and only this, can actually serve the Mafia's purpose. Even that requires thought. If they kill my voted "victims" as a pattern, though, then the nights they don't kill said victim are fodder for WIFOM talks and a whole lot of talking themselves into a corner.

The suicide bomber aspect of me, however, is quite a Villager thing, I assure you. It can benefit the Mafia if I only ever finish a day with a vote on a villager. I'd like to think I'm not that bad at placing votes, though. And once again. I tried to apply this to an arguable Jester. The kind of role everyone doesn't want to touch with a ten foot pole until it's game over Mafia + Jester wins time. This is in no way going to be spent willy-nilly.

So once again. My vote on Thr stands.

Derp. Got wrapped up in paragraphs 2 and 3 and forgot to re-state why it's not everyone who kills me dies.

Poison Nova never deals lethal damage. It needs something else to finish off that last little bit of 1 HP that remains. Only anyone who's had my Poison Sting on them this game in conjunction with being hit by Poison Nova will outright die. (There always is the combination of Poison Sting and Venomous Gale, but that's a one-target one-shot I'd rather save if I could.)

Don't think a Mafia one-shot kill is likely, puts the game out of balance as N1 the town could use two roles, without the vigilante chance of hitting a mafia. Not saying it is impossible, but I agree with Aragorn that it sounds MORE third party than mafia or town.

Well. That is an interesting 1st Night. Obviously Aragorn was protected by someone other than himself per the flavor text. I don't think it was some lucky random doctor save, either. That would be just to precious. A passive role of someone would be my guess. This comment of Aragorn bugs me for some reason, and leads me to believe he'd be 3rd Party over Town, though:

I don't know why it bugs me, but it just does. A lucky doctor selection is just too far fetched for me.

Thr's weird hypothesis is just Thr being Thr, I'd think. He's come out with some similar notions in previous games, which doesn't make his outlandish ideas all that scummy to me.

But, Lander, couldn't your above post be considered a smoke screen, too?

My suspicions:
Dr. Henry, SparkyAMS and Tennis Ace.
Tennis, because of the "Aragorn is 100% villager" and "Pick this apart as you will, but I want to leave my thoughts out in the open if I 'do' get lynched or night-killed." comments.
Dr. Henry, because of the *vote....oh nvm" for Tennis. Also, just a general vibe from him.
Sparky, because his one short post/vote for the day just leaves me.....unsatisfied.

I'm third party because I speculated that a doctor saved me? That's the most nonsensical speculation I've ever read.

THERE IS NO FULL STOP IN DR HENRY! -.-

Also, what? I'm suspicious because I voted to draw the attention of a player who I wanted a quick response from so I could move on? Right. Bluecoat himself changed his vote elsewhere, and gave no reasoning for it in the first place.

Sparky, could you please stop hiding around without contributing, especially since your vote was not backed up by ANYTHING other than flavour from the host, which certainly would never be used to reveal a mafia to us. I immensely dislike both the vote and the lack of contribution.

I would like to state I still think Aragorn may be mafia. The text is flavored in a way to make Aragorn say it. So... I'm just putting that out there.

Also I have to admit, Jaron just posting comics is amusing but has he actually said anything? It worry's me.

And on my last note.
I'm waiting until day 3 to vote, unless there is some amazing evidence that can convince me someones mafia.

Dr Henry - 1 - Spirographed
Thr - 1 - Kikori
SparkyAMS - 1 - Dr Henry
Kikori - 3 - Tennis Ace, bluecoat, Sighence
bluecoat - 2 - Landerpurex, SparkyAMS

DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES BEING STATISTICALLY THE SAME AS DAY ONE, THE PLAYERS RETURN TO THEIR CHAMBERS WITH NO LYNCH.

NIGHT TWO BEGINS.

THE TOWN AWAKENS TO ANOTHER UNSUCCESSFUL ATTACK, THIS TIME ON LANDERPUREX.

HE IS QUESTIONED IF THE SAME INDIVIDUAL WHO PROTECTED ARAGORN THE PREVIOUS NIGHT SAVED HIM. LANDER SCOFFS AT THIS.

"I need no protection."

THE VILLAGE COMES TO THE SQUARE AGAIN, THIRTEEN STRONG. IS THERE EVEN A THREAT AT ALL, THEY BEGIN TO WONDER.

THIRTEEN PLAYERS REMAIN, SEVEN VOTES TO LYNCH.

DAY THREE BEGINS.

rofl mafia gettin' schooled

OK so who would target Aragorn, then Lander?

My first guess is Jaron. No way his role forces him to make comics. This way, he can be cryptic and still have plausible deniability. I don't buy it.

Welp, I might as well come clean. I was hoping this would happen.

I am Superman, AKA Man of Steel. I am invincible in the night, and this is a passive ability, meaning I WILL NOT be roleblocked. I cannot be nightkilled, and I cannot be affected by any hindering abilities. But, if I am lynched during the day, I have lost the faith of the people and I fly off into space, effectively dying.

I believe wholeheartedly that either Monk or Bluecoat are mafia.

If I wasn't on to something, I would not have been attacked.
