So there are two extenders. I got hit by an extender, and so did aragorn.
HOWEVER, I chose to target apple last night. So something happened to shift my target to either aragorn, or me.

The effect of the extender on me was to add henry to my list, as I had chosen my 6 people to be: target apple, list aragorn, rex, jack, sparky, tennis.

It's really easy to miss that. I hadn't noticed an extra name, was concentrating on looking for breakthroughs.

Roles we know exist:

Extender (x2)
Magic Pen Holder (x3/4?)
Muter
Jester (dead)

anything I've missed?

I am walking right now and won't be on a computer for awhile to post or analyze or whatever. Food for thought for the day. Is Jackstick the only person who had Sighence on his first list and then Sparky on his second? Idk if that is obvious Godfather or if the mafia can switch like someone suggested earlier.

I was fairly convinced of his guilt tbh, we're all to blame there.

@Tennis, the godfather role can vary significantly, immunity to detection by a detective is the only regular and reoccurring aspect of the role. Sometimes the Godfather designates the hitter for the night but that's by no means guaranteed.

Ahhhh ok, good to know then. I read a few old games and people had been identified as Godfathers, so I was a tad confused

This is really random and probably stupid but something in my gut makes me suspicious of Applequest. From blatantly targeting defeat and Rory to getting muted right after the fiasco about Dr Henry. It just seems kind of suspicious, especially with the almost instant role-claim. Who is to say that mafiosos can't be Magic Pen Holders themselves if everyone has a night role...?

I am just thinking out loud now.

Did you seriously just soft-claim jester?
You seriously soft-claimed jester. And it worked.

ANYWAY, DEDUCTIVE REASONING TIME
Yesterday:

With Sighence on their list:
Aragorn
defeat (dead)
Ex Rex
Jackstick
Rory
Topsummoner

With Dr Henry on their list:
defeat (dead)
Godders
Market Man
PenguinGuy
Sighence (dead)
Tennis Ace
Topsummoner
SparkyAMS (dead)

Today:

With SparkyAMS on their List:
Applequest
Dr Henry
Jackstick
PenguinGuy
Tennis Ace

With Applequest on their list:
Aragorn
Godders
Market Man6
Topsummoner

With Sighence and SparkyAMS on their list:
Jackstick

With Dr Henry and Applequest on their list:
Godders
Market Man
Topsummoner

Seems that Jackstick is only only person to have targetted both Sighence and SparkyAMS, with Godders, Market Man, and Topsummoner the only person to target both Dr Henry and Applequest.

SIDE NOTE: Jesters are basically broken in RV mafia, since town (and mafia) has no good incentive not to lynch him, with several reasons to lynch him (especially in the early game when you can afford a mislynch), most notably the fact that they don't work for the town, and on a day when mafia and town are equal, jester can sacrifice himself to the mafia for a dual win.Not that we shouldn't have seen this outcome coming...

FREEDOM TO TALK!

Can't believe you guys couldn't tell that the guy who soft-claimed Jester, and was trying to lynch me for being muted... was the jester :S

I'm another Magic Pen Holder. Jackstick night one, Sparky last night.

Jackstick for the above reasoning.

Jesters don't work in RV mafia because they don't end the game when they win. Which would be ridiculous in RV mafia because games aren't frequent enough to justify potentially ending one so quickly.

Jackstick, any explanation for your actions?

penguin guy.
although I am very curious to see what jackstick says, I would also like to know why penguin is just scimimg over the posts.
you have made these lists each day, and both have had errors.
are you selectively choosing what information is shown, in an attempt to sway the crowd?

people who had sig on their list are:
aragorn, defeat, rex, jack, market, rory, top.

people who had sparky on their list are:
apple, henry, jack, market, penguin, tennis.

unfortunately for me, i appear in both lists; along with jack.

so, penguin, my vote for you is for spearheading an attack that was based on false information.

I compiled my post from the day 3 dump, and then checked the posts to see if anyone had any weirdness happen. You said the extended added Henry to the list, and since his targets don't matter, I didn't update the list. However, it now seems that you didn't have just a extended, someone changed one of your targets. This is the list in the D3 post.

No SparkyAMS, and upon closer inspection, tennis ace changed to Penguinguy. So it seems we both missed something. I'm not trying to sway the crowd, it simply seems we have another list changer.

Just gonna think out loud here for a second. I might be repeating some of the things you guys have said, but who cares.

I went ahead and made this table to help me better understand the patterns in this game. It shows all of our targets for Night 1 and 2, except the ones that were crossed out by Magic Pen holders. It reads horizontally.

Image

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these deductions.

Of the people who are still alive, the following cannot possibly be the muter:

Applequest
Aragorn Ix
Dr Henry
Ex Rex
Jackstick
PenguinGuy
Rory
Tennis Ace

These people might be the muter:

Godders
Market Man6
Topsummoner

There are two "extenders". Night 1, they both targeted Godders, making his list eight names long. Night 2, they targeted Aragorn Ix and Market Man6.

These people might be extenders:

Dr Henry
Ex Rex
Market Man6
PenguinGuy
Tennis Ace

These people are definitely not muters or extenders:

Applequest
Aragorn Ix
Jackstick
Rory

Going by the actions of Night 1, there must be only five Magic Pen holders in the game. Two of them are now dead.

Since Applequest was the first player to describe the Magic Pen role in detail, I'm going to go ahead and trust his roleclaim. I'll also claim that I am a Magic Pen holder as well. First I targeted Sighence, then Rory.

The only living person who is definitely not a Magic Pen holder is Godders.

Hi guys, sorry i didn't post all of Day 2 i was on holiday for 4 days and unable to sign into RV via my phone, because even though i put the right password in it wouldn't load, this happen for me on multiple sites, but i was able to send my Night 2 action into Jaron.

My Night 1 target was Market Man, with all the others chosen because they either jokingly voted for me on Day 1 or because i though a lot of people would vote for them i.e. Topsummoner.

Night 2 i had to send my target name and others to Jaron via Facebook because i couldnt log in to RV still, those names where chosen randomly that night because couldn't remember who was in the game, i actually put down Sighence as one of my 5 forgetting he was dead, changing it to Applequest later, my target was Jackstick though.

Cheers for the voting table.

I'm the Nurse. Although until the Doctor dies (if the Doctor dies), im pretty much just a standard Villager with less power than the pen holders. I assume the nurse has been implemented into the game because of the complexity of the game, and if the Mafia lucked out and killed the Doctor pretty quickly then it'd be pretty unfair to the town, because people may need a couple day/night phases to get a firm grasp of the game, which people seem to have at this point for the most part.

I'm not buying it Godders.

I think you are the muter.

Also, voting for Jack just because he is the only person who has the two mafia targets on his list isn't a foolproof plan, as this game probably allows the mafia to choose who actually performs the kill.

Therefore, unvote

Godders
