OOC: Okay since Lander has ruled your entrance to be unfair I'm going to pretend it never happened until you go ahead and make something open ended.

IC: Jack shifted to the side, and the burst of air hit the dirt creating a small and brief dust. Jack's left tentacle snuck around his back and emerged wrapped around the handle of a Regisword.

Powerfully, Jack threw the Regisword at Riku, followed by taking off into the air then diving at him for a flurry of slashes from his Ninja Sword.

Brolaf was fighting in the Fields of Justice, and had gotten a quint ace. As he recalled to stock up on wards and buy his frozen mallet, slight lag in the fields occured. "Olaf not like lag!" he yelled. After everything had caught up, he was somewhere, but not in the Fields of Justice. It was a warm desert area, with a canyon in the middle. "This desert much warmer than Lockfar! Olaf not like this." He looked around him, and saw signs of conflict far off. "Olaf like battle though!" he said as he took off towards the battle.

The sword thrown from the dust at Riku was impressive, but still just a single-shot weapon. What caught his attention was the third entity somewhere off to his side or behind. It was only with a rustle of dead foliage that Riku had a pinpoint location, given the desert area not allowing for much to hide by. Riku sidestepped the sword, slashed it so it rebounded on a trajectory loosely aimed at (unbeknownst to him) Takeshi's clone, and soon had to revert his attention to Jack, swinging back to deflect every slash possible. As it was, the sword slinging was a stalemate... Riku also had to make sure amidst his blocks and parries that whoever or whatever hid behind him wasn't too fast to avoid.

What a pain.

"Oh, great." So long as there weren't three swords on the agenda, Riku could keep up with deflecting one blow and bending away from another. Reluctantly, he had to repeatedly track the tentacle-gripped blade due to it having far more flexibility.

It didn't take long before holding off two blades became enough. Taking a leaf from Jack's book, Riku jumped back and hurled his keyblade straight at the heart of his opponent. The moment the blade was gone from his fingertips, he also blasted out a small chunk of ice that seemed to slide jaggedly through the air, seeking out Jack's body with each movement.

(Blizzard. A little ice ball moves so far at a time [unlike, say, a fireball moving steadily down a path], and can turn at any angle to track its target. Potential to freeze on impact, explodes if it doesn't hit a target after so long.)

Blocking the keyblade with his main sword, Jack was caught off guard by the chunk of ice smashing against his sword. It exploded, pelting him with sharp ice and freezing his left tentacle. The Regisword in it dropped to the ground.

With a flap of his wings, Jack flew backwards until he was a good ten feet away. He examined his frozen tentacle, and figured the hot sun would melt the ice shortly.

"you want to play rough? bring it kid" Jack snarled while sheathing his sword, before holding his ring up to the sky. Chaotic energy began to shoot out and shot towards Riku.

However, people can choose how many posts to have on a page now. Personally I have the maximum.

"Looks like what the Organization leader did, just way faster." Riku tracked what was in front of him best he could, rolling between two branches hitting the ground before starting to jump and slide through the air short distances around the others as they whipped around. It wasn't a cakewalk, but getting through the net of energy to end up behind Jack was over with, and Riku was springing back at him, re-summoning his keyblade while spinning in fast slashes toward his back.

OOC: I forgot about the posts-per-page change... A little math can figure out how many posts you have to go through before killing becomes an option, though.

We haven't reached the five page minimum yet since there's been quite a bit of OOC posts...

I mean the killer posts at least once per page with five pages total of combat action for kills to take place. That means someone can't lurk for five pages then make a kill attempt. They have to actively post.

We haven't reached that point yet. We need a few more pages of pure action first.

Half the people who voted on the "Change the posts-per-page to be customizable" topic voted that they'd enjoy or use the change. That means the default value, 20, may not be how others see it. Top sees 255 posts per page, so five pages for him would be a ridiculously long battlefield before being allowed to kill someone.
Anyone who's gone over 20 posts per page, regardless, would have to "wait" longer than someone using the default. It was an oversight on my part in thinking up a guideline for when to kill, to be honest.

With Glodenox's recent update, each person can custom-select how many posts to display on a single page, from 5 to 255. What Top's getting at is "five pages" may mean 25 posts or 1275 posts depending on the user.

(Just got ninja'd by kik but I'll leave it anyway since I linked it. :P)
