I don't really have a problem with Lander, i can't see anything significant about posting few times on the first day personally.

My only real problems are with Market Man6 and Riptide; Market Man for being arrogant and Riptide for being blind.

Aw dam.
I was wrong :( sorry for blaming kikori. Thought I was on to something.

....I'm rather unsure with riptide right now. Yes he is acting worse than last game. But along the same lines. Like when he forgot he cast his own vote last game :S

Godders - "My only real problems are with Market Man6 and Riptide; Market
Man for being arrogant..."

Arrogant(stupid as rx says) does not mean mafia...
My recklessness and error caused a villager to die. I need to tone it down a notch. (This is a big part of why I'm not so quick to vote for riptide right now).

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

Right, so, frequency is relative to each person. Yes, in general mafia post somewhat less, town-powers post somewhat more. You, Lander, are far more consistent than most of us, to be sure; your town-normal and mafia post/day average difference is about 1.

It's your commitment level and wording that is more of an indicator with you.

Your last villager game, you analyzed several people and committed to voting on one at this point in the game. However, in your last mafia game, your first post D2:

I most respectfully decline your request, but choose to be flattered that you feel me to be the best option to join you. That said, Lander is a suspected villager. I'm not a good mafia-sided player, and due to chatting with him a lot outside the game, he knows that offer would be purely wasted on me. Were he to have any say in that power being used, I'm pretty dang certain he would have picked someone more prone to acting red-named.

*PMs Paidea the response before forgetting*

Cool beans, lol. No one else could really fully understand this post, but it's pretty much true in its entirety.

That being said...does anyone else find it strange that DC hasn't actually denied being scum yet? :?: I'm gonna withhold my vote for now because I don't trust mentos any further than I could throw him. My vote WILL be either for mentos or for DC depending on developments.

Short of the quote, it's thematically identical to this game's first D2 post: a few small musings on a few people, and "withholding" your vote.

If you're not mafia, thus far you're playing identically to your recent mafia pattern. Occam's razor dictates that you're mafia.

Because frankly, I've picked on Scar enough. Though he DOES need to start posting. His silence in uncharacteristic, just was Monk's was.

In terms of your post, it's coincidence. An admittedly negative on for me. But I could just as easily find examples of myself withholding votes as a townie as well, it's just something I do when I'm not certain on any train that seems to be manifesting.

You voted on me because you believe I made a common mistake.

Rip's done every type of newbie mistake in the book. It's kind of annoying, sure, but a mafia partner would be reigning him in. Voting for him simply because he was thirdvoter yesterday is somewhat simplistic. He's following his villager pattern, for better or worse.

Sorry about that, been quite the weekend for me.

Anyway, while I still think Riptide is scum Market is making quite the strong case for himself to the point if Riptide isn't scum I am almost positive Marketman is mainly because of:

Quote:
....I'm rather unsure with riptide right now. Yes he is acting worse than last game. But along the same lines. Like when he forgot he cast his own vote last game :S

Saying something without saying something, while defending a blatent lie by Riptide about the number of votes on Kik.

Quote:

I'm not sure what your thought process is here, how do you think you caused him to die exactly?

---

As to Monk:

Quote:

If this was directed at me, I'm not voting for him solely because he was the third voter. I'm voting for him because he claimed he didn't know how many votes Kikori had against him while also having quoted the post where Kikori said how many votes against him had already been made. He has played enough games by this point that he shouldn't get a pass for making so called "newbie" mistakes.

if i didnt argue with him yesterday, do you think he would have still been killed?

defending?
just saying why i dont want to vote right now.

Yes, I do think there was a good chance of him being killed for the simple fact he is usually one of the first towns people killed off.

And I meant that you were posting words with no meaning behind them, meaning your post had no real sustenance to that line.

And I must add, that you know what I'm talking about. If the trains that are manifesting seem like bullcrap to me, I won't vote. I've done that many, many times.

Would a mafia partner rein him in? Or would a mafia partner let him assume his newbie persona because it's all he has, really; and demonstrates the only consistency he could show as scum. Barring being completely inactive, that is. The wine's in front of me, it seems. Monk's defense of Riptide worries me, as does his (shaky at best) reasoning for voting for me. I'm not too big on FoS'es, but Monk gets one here. As he said, if he, Scar, and/or myself live to the later days of this game, kill us.

But then, that sounds like something a mafioso might say to get a veteran lynched and not have to waste a nightkill on them...

I agree with Scar here. Riptide has been in a good number of games. But there are some people who just aren't good at mafia. I wouldn't chalk them up as newbie mistakes rather than just mistakes, but the end result is the same.

At any rate, my vote stands. Inactivity can't be tolerated in a game of this size where every vote counts.

I should clarify slightly; Rip's mistakes are those of a newbie. I falsely implied that I mean Riptide is a newbie. He's not, he's just making their mistakes. I don't see why we should vote for him at this stage for doing what he always does, annoying as it is.

Monk, as I said in my other post I at least am not voting for him for a newbie mistake.

In this post, Rip quoted Kikori. In the quoted post Kikori says he has 3/5 votes on him.

Riptide wrote:
Kikori wrote:
Because 3/5 votes against someone with no official reason does not bode well for any parties involved. :?:

Kikori wrote:
Almost anyone's first vote, especially on day one, is a joke vote.

You said it yourself.

Riptide then went on to say:

Riptide wrote:
I didn't keep track of votes.

Unvote.

He claimed to not have kept track of votes, and yet he quoted the post where Kikori said how many votes were against him and didn't bother to unvote until he made the second post later.

To go easier on you, although i still feel you lied, which is a Mafia trait because Townie's have no reason to lie.
