[RP] Battlefield 8: Kira's playground.

OOC: This is what you get for reducing your strength in favor of ranged attacks.
BIC: Normally, Makuta trying to push Axonn back would have been bad for him. However, Makuta was again showing a lack of strength. He had also been slow in dodging the bolts and seemed weak in many other ways. Pushing his advantage, Axonn exerted his strength on Makuta as he shifted the point of contact to his axe's hilt and grabbed its head with his other hand. With a great shove, his sent Makuta stumbling backwards into the nearest wall. Continuing forward, Axonn lunged with the point of his axe at Makuta, shooting bolts all the way from his other hand.

Makuta let out a yell that was more of a roar as Axonn pushed him back. By this time Makuta's hand had turned to normal. Makuta created a cyclone, then held up both hands and started firing bolts and explosions from them.

"What folly." said Nobunaga as Marluxia attempted to trap his sword. As the thorn trap released, Nobunaga began to glow with dark energy. "Die!" he shouted, as, in about a second, the energy would combust, blasting away anything close to him.

OOC: I played Samurai Warriors earlier today, and found I had missed a few of Nobunaga's moves. I'll edit them into my first post.

Noticing his opponent wasn't moving, Tousen slashed upwards, his zanpaktou slicing through the gun. He then jumped back, preparing.

BIC: Most of the bolts from both combatants missed, or hit each other. However, a few managed to hit each one. Axonn did a quick mental check and found all pieces still attached as he again charged through the cyclone at Makuta, axe point forward.

Makuta was now leaking energy from more than one spot. They were small damages though. As Axonn charged through the cyclone, Makuta turned one hand into a pincer, the other into a shovel type thing. As Axonn got close, Makuta grabbed the spear with the pincer, swept the shovel under Axonn's feet, and flipped Axonn over his head.

OOC: Bit of a correction...it's an axe (hence the name, Axonn).
BIC: Landing on his hands, Axonn backflipped rather awkwardly to his feet, dragging his axe and Makuta along with him. Firing green bolts (stasis field, not damage) at Makuta point-blank, Axonn wrenched his axe out of the grip of the pincer--or rather, of the pincer's lower arm. The pincer came with the axe (you can still put it back on).

OOC: Oops. I didn't have much time to be on when I typed that.

BIC: Makuta's pincer/arm got yanked off by Axonn's axe. One of the blasts just barely hit Makuta's finger, seeing as Makuta's arm had reverted back to normal. Makuta aimed an explosion at the center of the axe, and let it loose, hoping to damage it.

OOC: Nope, nothing going. Both of our weapons are pretty much invulnerable.
BIC: Blocking the explosion with his axe, Axonn jumped back and waited. Sure enough, Makuta's arm was now encased in a stasis field. With his other hand/pincer lying on the ground, Makuta was effectively disarmed. Jumping back in, Axonn swung his axe at Makuta from over his head in mid-air.

OOC: Sorry about not posting yesterday. Had power outages and rolling blackouts.

BIC:Makuta dodged to the right of the axe, unable to use his arm. Makuta quickly transformed part of his chest into a workable arm, then using it, grabbed his arm off the floor and started reattaching it.

BIC: As Makuta picked up his pincer-arm with his chest-arm, Axonn charged forward, swinging his axe at Makuta fast enough to hit before Makuta could get his arm on straight.

Makuta could only try to dodge Axonn's attack as he worked his arm back on. Makuta jumped, but the axe struck his foot. The foot didn't come off, but was slightly damaged. A small part on the heel was open, and leaking out was more of Makuta's energy.

Sousuke watched as his gun was sliced in half. It's a good thing he had a spare, but if that was damaged, he'd have to rely on hand-to-hand combat. Taking a chance, he dropped the broken gun and pulled out his spare while flipping off the safety. He pointed the weapon at the swordsman and fired off three quick shots, two to the chest and one to the head.

When Tousen noticed the human reach for another weapon, he quickly flashstepped to his other side, and attemtped to stab him in the spine.

BIC: As his momentum carried him under Makuta, Axonn swiveled and kept his axe's swing going into an uppercut at Makuta.

Sousuke rolled to the side as the swordsman appeared beside him, but wasn't fast enough. The sword cut his left arm on the bicep. The wound wasn't too deep, but it could hamper with his ability to aim. He continued to roll six feet away before rolling onto his knee and aiming. He only needed to hold out for another five seconds...

IC: "Heh. You didn't really think those plants are just for decoration, I hope?" Marluxia said, as he threw his scythe at Nobunaga, and spread his arms, while thick branches from the ceiling began slamming at the samurai. "I'll allow you a compromise though. Serve for my purposes, and I might just spare you."

"And be careful around darkness, it might just take your heart, like mine..."

OOC: Great. Falling rocks. I doubt that it won't hamper us Bionicle characters unduly (we're about three to four meters tall) unless they're really big.

In a similar manner to his earlier attack, Tousen jumped upward, and managed to get some footing on a high beam. He once again swung his sword in a crescent, and hundreds of spikes flew towards the human as Tousen returned to the ground.

Just as Makuta finished reattaching his arm, his foot was hit by an unforeseen attack from Axonn. The axe that hit his foot cleaved it almost in half. Makuta yelled in pain, but at the same time contemplating using a move that was so fearsome, he had never used it. He had never wanted to use it, but now he saw that in his weakened state he might not be able to defeat Axonn, so he might have to use it. He hoped it didn't come to that.
