Muffin Attak: Well something similar happened to PenguinGuy last night, only this time both attacks were successful.

Jackstick: Both sides attacked him?! Well he must have been a pretty big threat. Do you know if he had any useful tools or skills?

Muffin Attak: None. Nothing in his house but furniture and a dead body. He was a plain Villager.

Jackstick: Okay then, time for Day 9.

Muffin Attak: You're not even going to mourn his death?

Jackstick: I've become desensitized to this .

Muffin Attak: Another lynch! Jeez, that was fast.

Jackstick: Wait, who was lynched? I haven't been paying attention.

Muffin Attak: They lynched Sighence.

Jackstick: The Demon Hunter?! What the were they thinking?

Muffin Attak: Lol, what? You mean you actually believed his "Demon Hunter" claim? Nah, that was a complete lie. We all just got back from raiding his home, and it's pretty clear that Sighence was Mafia.

Jackstick: Oh... yeah, pssh, I knew that.

Muffin Attak: Then did you also know that he had a special set of items?

Jackstick: Yes. I knew that too. Go on.

Muffin Attak: Three items were found in his home. A broken magnifying glass, an empty vial of chloroform, and an empty little bag with "Gold" written on it. I guess you could call him a Jack of All Trades.

Jackstick: Wow, he sure kept himself busy. It's a shame we couldn't have stopped him earlier.

Muffin Attak: Indeed, but at least he's dead now.

Muffin Attak: You know what would suck? If Sayaka were to die. I really like that guy.

Jackstick: Well then you're not going to like what I say next.

Muffin Attak: .

Jackstick: Yup. Sayaka was found dead in his bed, with an almost-comical number of stab wounds. He must have been killed by the Mafia.

Muffin Attak: Well, at least that means he wasn't Mafia.

Jackstick: Indeed, however his heart was not entirely pure. Judging by the writings in his journal, it's very clear that he was possessed by the Demon.

Muffin Attak: Did you discover anything else unusual about him?

Jackstick: Actually, yes. There was an Ice Orb in his room. You've heard about those, right? They're objects that are capable of drastically change the weather in an area for several hours. Such an event would make it impossible for anyone to do anything for that period of time.

Muffin Attak: Jeez, it's incredible that he was able to come across such an item. He must have been very wealthy.

Jackstick: That might explain how he was able to afford such a large house.

Muffin Attak: Large house? You mean the same house that Topsummoner and Landerpurex lived in?

Jackstick: Oh right, I forgot about that! Yeah, I guess Sayaka was living with them.

Muffin Attak: Well, at least Aragorn Ix is doing better.

Jackstick: What happened?

Muffin Attak: You didn't hear? He was attacked last night by an agent of the Demon. Luckily the attacker left before finishing the job.

Jackstick: Hah! What an idiot. Anyway, that's a relief.

I had guessed it was going to be either me or Sayaka that bit the dust last night.

I think we can mislynch and still win, so I'm going to go with my gut feeling about Ex Rex from day 4, that he might be the Godfather.

EDIT: Really should read the entire text before replying. Not sure why/how I survived that...

I'm probably dead tonight (providing we don't win with this lynch) so this is how I see us winning:

Lynch Ex Rex (probable town win)

Lynch Ex Rex (flips town/demon?)
Lynch Phantom (should flip demon if Ex is mafia/mafia)

After this point if we haven't finished them off the game is lost.

Have we considered that the demon has Godfather style immunity?

Another possibility is that the Demon is the Godfather, but that would give two avenues for victory which seems unlikely, but not impossible.

Muffin Attak: bluecoat was attacked by the Mafia last night. Like all Mafia victims, he's got quite a few stab wounds on his body. But unlike all Mafia victims, he still walks among the living.

Jackstick: Well that's not so unusual. People can survive Mafia attacks if someone else protects them, you know?

Muffin Attak: Oh that's true, but there's no indication that he was protected by anyone last night. He simply survived the attack. He looks weak now, though.

Jackstick: Well that's strange, but I'm glad no one died last night. Looks like both the Mafia's and Demon's attacks have failed.

Muffin Attak: Wait, who did the Demon attack?

Jackstick: Aragorn Ix, again. Once again, the Demon's attacker left before finishing the job. You'd think they would like, check his pulse or something.

Muffin Attak: That's awesome. Anyway, let's go see what's going on in the town square.

Jackstick: You sound so excited.

Muffin Attak: Three-quarters of our village's population has been wiped out. I don't even know what "excitement" is anymore.

Aragorn, who I believe to be mafia. Looking back, I believe it's possible you supplied us with information gathered with Monk's detection ability, while killing the village nurse with a one shot second night attack. I think the stalker power was fake from the get-go (why would a JoaT have two detection powers?). You haven't been investigated, and you've been riding the JoaT claim the whole game.

Also, I die when Rose dies, and without my third vote, she can't be lynched. You all now know my death condition.

Aragorn as mafia, I am not so sure. He voted both for Sighence and Ex Rex on days when they would have had numbers to push the lynch any direction they would have liked.

Muffin Attak: Look around, look at all these items he had. A dagger hilt, a broken spyglass, and a broken magnifying glass. Sure, they're in condition, but that means he must have used them before he died.

Jackstick: I see, so I guess he was a Jack of All Trades, like Sighence. Only he had different specialties.

Muffin Attak: Indeed. And now he's gone.

Muffin Attak: What?

Jackstick: No one died last night.

Muffin Attak: That's good news!

Jackstick: Yeah, but I had almost become used to the routine of someone dying every day. This is just boring!

Muffin Attak: You're messed up, you know?

Jackstick: Yes. Now then, explain to me why last night was so boring.

Muffin Attak: No Demon attacks last night... and It looks like the Mafia simply failed to attack whoever they wanted to attack. They broke into one of the houses here, but no deaths have been reported.

Jackstick: Do you know whose house that was?

Muffin Attak: Let's see, that was... uhhh... , I can't remember.

Jackstick: Dude we really need to figure out where everyone lives.

Muffin Attak: It doesn't really matter for you and I. We're ghosts, remember?

Jackstick: Uhh, what?

Muffin Attak: We were both killed at the same time that Judge Frank died. I don't know if you remember, in fact it only occurred to me a few days ago, but we were actually his guards. It's become clear to me that no one cares about what you and I do. The people in this village don't pay much attention to ghosts. They think of us as being imaginary, so they try to tune us out. Don't you remember dying?

Jackstick: But then... where is Judge Frank? Why isn't he here with us?

Muffin Attak: He's gone off to Heaven. You and I are stuck here in a purgatory-like state, because we failed to protect him. So right now it is our duty to help the village by having in-depth and conveniently-timed discussions of the events that occur at night. Without us talking, no one here would have any idea what was going on.

Jackstick: So then what happens at the end of all this?

Muffin Attak: If the village wins, we go to Heaven. Otherwise, we'll be stuck in Hell for an eternity or two.

Jackstick: Awesome. Thanks for waiting until now to drop this on me.

Muffin Attak: You never asked.
