Topsummoner gets my gift vote. Could of just not said he was the one that took my item, and left the suspicion linger.

Ill wait for Spiro to talk before I hop on a lynch train, but I think he's the best choice as of now. If he doesn't flip mafia, question Lander tomorrow.

Couple things.

Saying you didn't go anywhere in a game where there are very clearly many roles, and furthermore, many items that necessitate moving in the night, I am not inclined to believe you.

Saying you didn't go anywhere is quite literally the easiest thing (read: lie) you could say in such a game.

Is it possible the mafia disguised themselves as you in the night? Yes. Probable? No. The existence of such a mechanic, in my opinion, would be borderline game-breaking.

Saying "I don't want to claim but I will if you leave me no choice" seems like an absolute load of nonsense. You're staring death in the face, dude. Claim if you're gonna. Or do you need some time to formulate your lie?

Occam's Razor, people. Just lynch him.

Recon - learn what items are in a players inventory
Enhance - Add an extra use to one of my items, or the 1st item in another players inventory.

Last night, I did none of those things, and yes, Lander, I realize that that is easy to say and not back up. I don't know what to tell you. I didn't want to waste an ability and shoot in the dark.

Is everyone just going to ignore Top's fumble? Dude had info that would help the town and didn't say anything. That's a choice.

The only choice I've made, and now regret, is not using an ability last night. At this point, I'm going to get lynched and there's nothing I can do about it, so lateron, I guess.

I wanted to see how Thr reacted to losing his item before coming clean, I thought this was pretty obvious.

Plus I don't yet want to say what the item is because that will hamper its effectiveness.

Your claim seems plausible. I would like to wait for Lander to answer my question regarding his item, and for a Gift majority to be reached (doesn't necessarily need to be on me but that would be fastest) before passing further judgment on you.

Alright, so I think I may expand on myself a bit here, but I'll be throwing myself in the crosshairs. I'm an Elven Inventor, which means I can craft items. During Today (day 2) I decided to use my snowglobe, which I created, on Spirographed. The snowglobe allows me to view a player for a previous day and night phase, in this case, D1 and N1.

It showed me that he performed no action on Day 1, and no one did anything to him. However, it showed me that Spirographed performed one of 3 actions: (1)Duplicate, (2)Kill, and (3)Gift for Night 1. As with Day 1, No one did anything to him on Night 1.



I now have questions. Why did Spirographed, in his latest post, lie about not performing any actions? If we follow the snowglobe, then it tells us he did something. What does Spiro have to gain by not being entirely truthful about this? Put on top of that Lander's first D2 post:



I think that the snowglobe only served to re-inforce his claim. Perhaps using it was a bit redundant, but I can't change that now.

Addendum to my post: I wanted to point that one of the 3 possible actions was Duplicate, which Spiro claims he can do. I can't however, think of much to say about this. Perhaps he got a good item and doesn't want to be a target?

Rory just killed any suspicion I had on Spiro being framed by a disguise item. Hang em.

I won't be making a gift vote until tomorrow. I just don't want to give top an item in the event that Spiro flips Elf. That being said, I'm not entirely sold on Top being on our side to begin with.

An item that forces a trade with someone else? An item that reduces gift vote? To me those feel like items used to limit the Elves progress.

Now, Top said he thinks Thr is village based on the item he stole, and I think he means that as an attempt to gain Thr's trust.

As it stands, I'm more suspicious of Rory (lightly) and Topsummoner (heavily) than anyone else, but I would rather get this Spiro situation out of the way so we don't get hung up on it and end up stalled while the mafia picks us off. Besides, I don't think Lander would lie about something like this Day 2.

That's some Pyro-tier recklessness.

My suspicion comes of Rory comes from Rory's account being quite the coincidence. If Spiro is mafia (or I guess Rogue in this game going by the opening post), then my suspicion of Rory is cleared.

Yeah it seems rather unnecessary but it's already done. Spiro is on the fence and hammerable with plenty of time to spare and Top's re-casted vote looming over him. Though, any lingering doubts people may have should be resolved with your testimony as well.

Lander seems pretty town oriented if you're adverse to voting for Top to get an item. Judging on how useful items have been in today it's really in the towns favor to get more. Lander's story has been corroborated by Rory and to have both of them caught in a big lie together this early in the game is near unbelievable. Seems like a reasonably safe bet from my perspective. At least until we are ready to hammer Spiro then we might have to compromise if we want to get a gift.
