Despite the apparent confession of one citizen towards the murder of the beloved Mr. Handsome, the evidence did not seem compelling enough to muster a lynch. The day was wasted, and the townsfolk returned to their homes.

What would happen that night? Who knows?

Night One Ends!

The sun rose, bringing with it a red sky. Blood was spilt this night.

The town gathered outside the house of their beloved Dr Henry, now a shrine to an amazing man who died too soon. Numbers seemed a bit short though. A quick headcount and only 14 names came back out of a possible 16.

Both Tanks and Topsummoner were deemed missing, and fear began to grow as they approached the first house.

Top's door was splintered from its hinges. Streaks of blood could be seen within. The body was full of stab wounds. He certainly wasn't waking up any time again. The town decided to search his room for clues as to the assailant, but all they found was a collection of sharp knives and a book entitled "How to fit in with the Mafia", which was sitting at the bottom of his wastebin. This, plus a hastily scribbled letter to his mother outlining how he did not feel that he had made the right career choice, implied that he was the Mafia Traitor.

Shocked at this news, they rushed over to Tanks house. Within, they found his body stabbed to within an inch of his life... and then stabbed a few more times to finish the job off. His house yielded no extra information though, he appeared to be just a boring old Town Member

Whatever had happened that night, it was clear that more would die, every night until the Mafia threat was quelled.

Wat. So did the mafia have some form of detective that would find a traitor? That seems too......implausible. I am confuse. Never played a game with a traitor. How does that normally work? And how are they night killed. What triggers it. Answers. Nao.

What prompted this reaction? Pretty obvious we either have a vigilante or a JoaT.

And uhh, what about the traitor role? I wonder if he had a choice pre-game or if he would later have an opportunity to join the town.

This doesn't bode well because if it is the latter, this is likely to balance out a powered mafia or a weak-ish town. It's also interesting that the flavor text has both being stabbed, which is perhaps what defeat is on about, but if we've learned anything in the past few games it's not to try and glean too much from flavor text.

With the crimes being so similar, i can only assume the murders were done by the same person...

Well Nish hasnt posted once. I am very unimpressed.

As for this traitor thing. It would make sense if he was able to change sides partway through the game. I wonder if we have a traitor of our own that would defect to the mafia? Either way, i'm glad one of the mafia died, we are no further behind than yesterday
