But the anger management might help...of course, as soon as Tahu realizes the various drawbacks he'll use the power less.

Alright, sorry for the short absence... I had a bit of a writer's block, and to make up for all this gaps between parts, I'm going to powerwrite and release five parts, in five days.

THE GREAT FIVE PART DRAGON THREAT MARATHON!!!!

Starting when Part 30 is released.

Anyways, here's part 29 =)

Part 29: Attack! The Battle Begins!

“The Black Knights are coming?” said Jamie. “That means… Tahu?”

“Who turned out the lights…” groaned Sarkus. He and Rangerbane has just sat up out of bed.

“Who turned out the lights?” moaned Rangerbane. “It’s as bright as can be in here.”

“We’re in Falador.” said Jamie. “And… the Black Knights are attacking.”

Rangerbane grinned. “They’ve attacked countless times before, and the White Knights have pushed them back without difficulty.”

“Appearently, however, they need our help…” said Jamie.

“A black flood moved to swallow the white city. Jamie, you must hear the prophecy before this battle starts, the fate of the entire Kingdom of Arsgania depends on-”

BOOM!!!

A large explosion sound erupted outside, followed by loud shrieking and battle cries. The same squire flew past the doorway, glancing at Jamie, Rangerbane, and Sarkus. He skid to a stop and came back to the doorway. Huffing and puffing, he managed to speak out “Un…dead…They…The North Wall… Help…” before collapsing.

“Let’s go!” said Rangerbane.

“But the prophecy?” said Sarkus.

“Shouldn’t we help him?” said Jamie.

But Rangerbane could not hear them as he had already charged out into the hallway.

“Damn it!” said Jamie, drawing his mithril scimitar. “We have to fight!”

“But the prophecy! Here it could be VITAL!” said Sarkus.

“What’s more important? A kooky prophecy? Or the fate of thousands!” said Jamie, before running after Rangerbane.

“Damn it!” said Sarkus, pulling out his staff. He disappeared in a purple light.

Jamie nearly fainted when he saw it. The entire north wall of Falador had seemingly evaporated into a pile of rubble. “Wha-?” He ran onto the bridge to see the damage better.

Suddenly, he spun his scimitar to deflect the sword of a skeleton warrior, who tripped back and fell off the bridge, landing in the moat and sinking.

A muffled explosion erupted, and a rather large pillar of water exploded from the water, before splashing back into the moat. “They’re like walking bombs…”

Rangerbane slashed at a few skeletons and zombies, before jumping back. “I can’t stay close to them… I have to used ranged attacks.” He put his scimitar on his back and pulled out his willow bow and fired a few steel arrows at the undead, before being knocked back by the following explosion.

The undead gathered around a few peasants, and were about to mercilessly slaughter them, when Sarkus appeared and shouted. “Rain of Arymadyl!” shouted Sarkus. Rays of pinkish light appeared, sending the undead flying back. Random explosions filled the air. “Where did the Knights get all these undead?”

“Master Valacious!” shouted the Black Knight Squire when the necromancer fell to his knees. “You’re using too much power! You’ll shatter-”
“Be quiet!”

“But… you’ve done enough. You’ve decimated the entire north wall! You must return to the Fortress and re-” The rest of his sentence was cut off when a zombie swung his axe into the squire’s back.

“I told you to be quiet…” said Valacious, before collapsing on the ground, in front of the giant stone sign north of Falador.

Sir Vyvin drew his Blurite Sword. “Die, and stay dead this time!” He swung his blade at the skeleton’s neck, decapitating it. But, it still could move, and tackled Vyvin.

“They’re sending in more!” shouted someone. And it was ever so true. Through the gaping wound in Falador, an army of Black Knights flooded in. Explosions rattled the city, as the undead army began to decrease, destroying another bit of Falador with each one.

Sarkus fired one last blast at a skeleton, before collapsing from exhaustion. His rune amulet was trembling so much that it seemed it could shatter any minute.

Jamie knocked back a zombie with a blow from his scimitar, before leaning back against a tree.

Rangerbane fired the last of his arrows through the zombie’s chest, causing it to explode and knock him back once more, this time into the wall of the shield shop, causing his head to be smacked, and he fell unconscious.

The Black Knights procceded, knocking back the guards with relative ease.

Sir Amik Varse stood on the bridge to the castle, and the Black Knight army halted. “This is a dark time for Falador.” shouted Amik.

“This is a dark time for all of Arsgania! But mostly, this is a dark time for the Black Knights who will rue the day they assaulted Falador!!!”

A large yell of hope filled the air, as an army of White Knights flooded from the castle.

“CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” shouted Amik.

GAH, so sorry there's been no part FOREVER. Anyways, time for Part 30

Part 30: Black and White
Metal on metal scraping and clanging filled the air as the White Knights and Black Knights clashed. Each Knight was evenly matched, every sword strike hitting another sword. The battle raged on for nearly twenty minutes, and there was still not a single fallen knight. But, that was when a black robed mage made his way through the ranks of Black Knights, and pulled off his gloves. His knuckles shone brilliantly red.

“FIRE GEYSER!” he shouted, as his hands ignited on fire. He jabbed his left hand into the ground, and a geyser of fire exploded from the ground underneath a White Knight. He jabbed his right into the ground, and another geyser exploded. The Mage continued to create these geysers and any Knight that tried to stop him, was burnt to a crisp.

“RETREAT!!!” shouted Amik, but it was in vain as the Knights continued to charge, and were each destroyed, one by one. “Damn it!” He grabbed his sword and pulled it out. It shone brilliantly, as he charged. Soon reaching the middle of the battle, he yelled “Throw me!” The Knight’s obeyed this command. Amik ran between two White Knights, who each grabbed one of his arms, and swung him into the air, feet first.

It all seemed to happen in slow motion. Amik flipped forward a bit, drawing his sword as he did so, and holding it over his head. However, the mage quickly shot a fireball, which hit the swords knocking it out of the head knight’s hands. He plummeted towards the mage, defenceless, as the said mage charged a large fireball.

Tahu opened his eyes. Darkness. That jail cell, again?

He heard voices. “We’ve got to keep him in this cell. It’s bad if he gets to Falador, or the Gate to Hell!”

“It’s not much of a ‘gate to hell’. More like ‘trapdoor to magma’.”

“That’s beside the point. Anyways, The Boss wants us to tell the Captain to send the next wave.”

“That’s rather shortsighted of him. Like, what would happen if we left this cell unguarded?”

A new voice. Somewhat… familiar. “Away with you two then. Leave him to me.”

“Aye!”

“I trust you haven’t been talking about anything important, hmm?”

“Err… No sir! Nothing at all.”

“If I find you have lied to me, I’ll personally see to it that you two are destroyed.”

Footsteps. The slide on the door opened. Tahu closed his eyes, pretending to still be unconscious. “Now then… Let the conversion begin… From White to Black.”

Tahu felt something wrap around him, and then, unconsiousness.

Part 31: A Heated Battle Ensues

A loud splash could be heard in the background, and if you listened carefully, so too could be the flight of an arrow, plunging in the Black Knight Mage’s arm. His fireball imploded in his hands, and he fell backwards and skid across the ground. Sir Amik Varse hit the ground where the Black Knight Mage was only seconds before.

“Hmph.” A Black Knight in more elegant armour than the rest, and without a helmet walked up to Sir Amik. “Amik. We meet once more. You nearly slay me on the battlefield, many years ago. It was both our first times on the field of war, was it not?” He drew his sword. Amik looked up at him.

“Vernas. My friend, it has been too long.”

“You still insist on calling me… ‘friend’. Our Friendship ended the moment you choose the White Knights, and plunged your sword toward my heart. My respect for the White Knights, as worthy and honorable foes, and you, as a friend, dissipated that instant. Oh, but I was saved. You quite remember that, don’t you. It IS why Vyvin wears that eye patch, is it not?”

Vernas drew his long, dark blade, and kicked Amik with his spiked toe metal boots, rolling him over. “Now, the tables have turned, and this time, it is YOU, that lays apon the ground.”

The tension in the string increased.

“You, that shall be stabbed by your best friend.”

The arrow left the bow.

“You! That shall DIE!” he rose his sword. “Farewell my friend!” Fuzzy Bunny

Metal was pierced. As was skin. Vernas dropped his sword, which clankered to the ground beside Amik. He moved his hand to his back, and pulled the arrow out. Weakly bringing it to his eye level, he saw what he feared. Poison dripping from it. A drop or two fell from the arrow before it, and Vernas fell to the ground, landing on top of Amik.

A lonely drop of poison hit Amik’s lips. Vernas struggled his hand to his pocket, managing to pull out a vial filled with a green liquid. Raising it to his mouth, he struggled for several minutes to pull the cap off with his teeth, while in the meantime, the battle still raged around the two fallen warriors.

Jamie, extremely weak, and leaning against a tree watched, as only a single drop entered the fallen Black Knight’s mouth before he stopped moving from the paralyzing properties of the poison.

Many a more White and Black Knight fell in battle, as swords continued to clash. Jamie weakly stood up, using the tree as support, and stumbled towards Rangerbane. Going down on his knees, Jamie shook Rangerbane. “Wake up! Wake up!” But to no avail.

Jamie looked up to see Sarkus approaching. “We can’t spare any energy waking him up. The balance of everything lies on it. We must go to the Black Knights Fortress.”

“We can’t!” shouted Jamie. “Falador is in too much danger.”

“Would you rather Falador, or the world?”

“I’m not going!”

“Damn it!” shouted Sarkus. He grabbed Jamie by the arm and rubbed the silver ring he wore. In a flash of light, the setting around turned from a Chaotic Falador to a peaceful forest. “Let us… go inside. You can hear it… finally, and we can get the monks to heal us.” Jamie noticed a change in the rune amulet Sarkus wore.

It was cracked. “What happened to-?”

“Not important, for now we…” Sarkus turned toward the Monastary, seeing it had been razed to the ground. “Wha-? The Monks must’ve retreated to Edgeville. Let’s…” he turned, seeing Jamie had gone in the direction of Ice Mountain. “-go. Hmph.” He ran after Jamie.

“Hmm. He can still run after much damage like that?”

“Don’t underestimate your nemesis. He has an extremely powerful object in his possession. In fact… I fear it.”

“So he really believed what you told him?”

“Yes, master.”

“Good, then everything is settled. I will get my hands on that blade… it’s just a matter of being there at the right time.”
