Easily the most exciting ending I've seen.

You slipped up a bit after you had killed him and asked if we were to assume I investigated Kikori Kid, and that stuck out to me quite a bit.

*shrugs*

We were to assume that, because you hadn't posted a report on penguin. If I had been town, I would have said the same thing. :?:

Also, how much of that vote was based on suspicion, rather than just rolling the dice and ending the game?

I guess as kikori says, "If I'm still alive late in the game it's usually safe to assume that I'm scum." That was me this game, lol.

Hey Scar, can we have night action and role sheet?

For you baby, anything:

Roles:
1.Landerpurex - Godfather
2.Topsummoner - Villager
3.PenguinGuy - Doctor
4.Tahu1000 - Villager
5.Riptide - Mafia Janitor
6.Not Paidea - Killer
7.Bluecoat - Villager
8.Tweedy - Villager
9.Dragoncrusher1 - Detective
10.Jackstick - Villager
11.Steely - Mafia Member
12.Jaron - Villager
13.TheAnimal - Villager
14.Kikori Kid - Villager
15.Defeat - Granny
16.Monk Basher - Mafia Member

Night actions will have to wait a bit, my spread sheet refuses to open and with the way i feel right now I don't think I am up to going through all those PMs.

Also, to clear up a few things that came up during the game:

Godfather was obviously investigated as innocent.

Janitor could use his role whenever he wanted, as long as it wasn't consecutive nights.

Dragon was not killed when he investigated Defeat because as far as I'm concerned/know the detective is a passive role. Meaning even though they investigate the person they don't actually enter the house.

Host's flavor, but I completely disagree with this. That's not mafia me talking, either.

Other than that, I have to rage for a minute. Usually I really hate being scum, but this time (for whatever reason) I decided to take an active role. I played balls out since Riptide died (and I really did have friends visiting that hindered activity). I figured my whole team had died and I had nothing to lose. I am, however, severely disappointed with my loss as I put a LOT of time and effort into trying to win.

Good on DC and the town, and an honorable mention for PG as I would have won if we would have lynched on D7.

That kind of defeats the Double-Edged Sword purpose of the Granny. I've never seen Detective as a 'passive' role. The only role I've ever seen that can target a player without visiting them is the Watcher...

Why would Penguin's protection not protect against Defeat's role?

Guess I don't get to fulfill my promise to Lander if he won. XD
Though maybe now people will start taking my game-long suspicions seriously...
Well played, though, from everyone. ^_^

Where's that mafia guide someone posted... That had better not be lost in the Timewarp. To be honest, this was an epic game towards the end.

It would have, had I set the game up in a way that Defeat would've been triggered by Invesitgations. The same outcome happened regardless though.

As for night actions:

Penguin Guy - Doctor:
N1 - No Protection
N2 - Protect Dragoncrusher1
N3 - Protect Dragoncrusher1
N4 - Protect Dragoncrusher1
N5 - Protect Dragoncrusher1
N6 - Protect Dragoncrusher1
N7 - Protect Dragoncrusher1

Riptide - Janitor:
N1 - Used Power
N2 - Wasn't allowed to use power
N3 - Used Power
N4 - Wasn't allowed to use power
N5 - Dead
N6 - Dead
N7 - Dead

Paidea - Killer:
N1 - No Kill
N2 - Steely
N3 - Tahu
N4 - TheAnimal
N5 - Dead
N6 - Dead
N7 - Dead

Dragoncrusher1 - Detective:
N1 - Dragoncrusher1
N2 - Tweedy
N3 - Monk Basher
N4 - Lander
N5 - Defeat
N6 - Kikori Kid
N7 - PenguiGuy

Mafia Kills:
N1 - Jaron
N2 - Dragoncrusher1
N3 - Tweedy
N4 - Paidea
N5 - Topsummoner
N6 - Kikori Kid
N7 - PenguinGuy

Protecting the same person everynight. 8)

Also, Kikori Kid, THIS IS WHY I WANTED DRAGON TO INVESTIGATE ME. IN THE CASE THAT I DIDN'T DIE.

Rant over. Good Game.

I suppose I could have, but then again that could have changed the way you played the role entirely if you knew for certain you couldn't harm the detective.

More importantly, explain how the detective is a "passive" role and able to avoid entering the target's house without coming into contact with the paranoid old lady's shotgun.

Spying into the windows of a persons house, examining things through their bedroom windows or whatnot.

You'd think you'd notice if you were being spied on if you were waiting, awake with a gun for that very purpose, no?

The only reason the Watcher gets away with it is because he watches the house from a distance to see if anyone enters it.

EDIT: Also it'd be too dark for the Detective to see anything through the windows if it's nighttime...

I was going with the windows, and the Granny being to focused on the door to notice some creeper looking at her through the window.

I decided at the start that the detective would investigate without entering the home. In hindsight that may have been a bad choice and leaned this game towards the town a little too much...
