Greil said, "If nobody can leave until most are dead, then so be it." Greil ran towards the man, and when he was a foot away, he lunged his sword.

OOC: I know you will all be horrified when you hear this, but I am making a new story.

Battlefield 6. Good times.

I'll post IC soon, and Knux, I find it kinda hard to fight a foe I know nothing about :-s

OOC:

Looks like I have a few things to address.

Pyro/Tahu battle - In football, when a foul is called on a team, but opposing team can forego the bonus (say, redoing first down) if it would benefit them otherwise (like it they scored a touchdown and don't want to replay it.) The same should apply here. Tahu, you play SSBB more than enough to know that Ike can stop in mid-air. Despite this, you still played the attack as if Ike went past you, which doesn't really earn any brownie points, so to speak.

So the verdict's going to be that Ike does stop and slash, which not only cuts the bow in half but slices deeply into Ishida down the chest as well. The reason for this is because, as Ragnell slices through things like butter, putting your bow up to block would not create any resistance to fall back on, and would actually lead Ishida's death having braced against Ragnell with it. We'll forego the killing and instead just say Ishida has a sharp, deep slice down his chest, which is extremely life-threatening but as of yet has not caused instant death.

Also:
Pyro3000 wrote:
No. Ishida loses his powers for a time and the only training he has after his weeklong training is training to get his powers back. He even acknowledges that he isn't as strong as he used to be but has some new tricks. These new tricks are his new bow and his silver tube techniques.
Tahu 1000 wrote:
And the "twice as powerful" thing was my approximation of his rise in power through experience and training.
Given the two quotes above, specifically Pyro's explanation, your using of the silver tubes, and your admittance to it being only an approximation, I'm going to say that Ishida is not "twice as powerful" as you say he is. I'd be happy to reinstate that, but I would first need facts or quotes that state so, and Pyro's mention of what Ishida says in the series is pretty clear.

Topsummoner/Knux battle - I asked you what Kamina does, you said he has a sword; Top asked you what Kamina does, you said he's Kamina. We're really going to need a lot more details, because otherwise if you pull some complicated powerful surprise move on Top, I might have to overturn it given Top had no idea it was coming nor any way to study your moveset. Kthx.

Inactive Fighters -
- Antic Hero has not posted in 11 days, and was last seen heading towards Bob/Vader
- Soren has not posted in 37 days, so I hereby give Crafty Llama authority to finish Soren off
- Arthenon has not posted in 30 days, although he's been asked to do so at least 4-5 times in Chat, so:

BIC (sorta):

Hexadecimal, the Queen of Chaos, flew around above the Battlefield, watching the events unfold below. "Ooh, how I DO so love random acts of violence!" she cackled, looking to one man in particular. Watching Kit Fisto, though, he proceeded to not move, giving no notice to the events going on around him. Hex flew down and landed in front of him. "My dear sir, why aren't you engaging in the battle? It's soooo much fun. I even saw my dear Bob fighting for his life over yonder, hahahaha!" Kit remained steady and unresponsive. "Well, if that's how you're going to be," she grumbled, pointing her finger at Kit's lightsaber arm. "Copy--and paste!" she exclaimed, moving her arm as Kit's entire shoulder detached from his body in a clean, sharp cut. She waved her hand in front of her own face, and her mask changed expressions from that of curiosity to that of vengence. "SO, are you going to DO SOMETHING or should I do the SAME TO YOUR HEAD?" she yelled.

OOC:

The arm Kit uses to swing his lightsaber is gone forever; so he has to use his other hand now. More idling will result in death.

I think that covers it! *awaits Stip*

I'm sorry for so much inactivity, but I've lost track of who's fighting who, I was gonna go for Greil(Rat), but Nnoitra(Kool) is now fighting him... I'm not sure there is anybody that is not fighting, Unless I go for Arthenon(Kit), which I thought was fighting somebody.

BIC: Feeling a, disturbance in the force, he saw a Nautolan Jedi slice his own arm off! He quickly thought, "Hmm, isn't that Kit Fisto? I thought the emperor killed him, well, time to finish the job!" and he dashed towards his direction.

OOC: You want facts? In Hueco Mundo, Ishida can handle multiple Menos Grandes at once. Before he got the glove, he couldn't even have a chance against one. Even with the glove, I don't think he could handle the number he does after he gets his powers back. And I was questioning the stopping in midair because he was moving at the speed he was (it sounded to me like close to the speed of a flash-step). Plus, this is Radiant Dawn Ike, not SSBB Ike, and if we choose to follow SSBB physics instead of normal ones the battles will be completely different.
However, Jaron's ruling stands. Time for bandages.
BIC: Instantly flash-stepping to a safe distance, Ishida revised his opinion of his opponent as he wound spirit threads around his wound to hold it closed. The man had moved at almost the speed of a flash-step and his sword could cut through things as easily as cheese wire. Now that was an idea... Using spirit energy to mend the cut in his bow, Ishida concentrated for a second, then pulled out his bow and started shooting arrows at his opponent.
OOC: I'm going to tell Jaron what that was all about, but I'm not going to tell anyone else unless he says I should.

Nnoitra first grabbed Greil's sword, moving it to the side. He then raised his zanpaktou in the air, preparing to bring it down.

OOC:

Top, that looks awesome and very accurate as far as I can tell. :)

Antic, go ahead and make an attack at Arth. If he doesn't respond four days after your attack, finish him off. (Judge's ruling; this isn't a three-day rule. He'll be five weeks inactive at that point.)

BIC:

Kit didn't reply to Hexadecimal, but nonetheless, she saw another fighter closing in. "Ah, it looks like I won't need to finish you off myself. You've got companyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy," she said joyfully, fly straight up to a safe altitude and looking around for other inactive contenders.

Greil saw the man grab hold of his sword. He wondered why the hand didn't get hurt. But he didn't have the time to consider that, because the man brought his strange weapon down. Greil, still holding his sword, swung towards the right side of the man, hoping to hit him with the flat side, as well as dodging the attack.

OOC: By the ruling of Jaron, I am obliged to inform all contenders that there is a spherical net of cheese wire with a radius of five meters around Ishida. The wire is only ten microns in diameter (a human hair is about 50), so it's invisible to those who cannot sense spirit energy except at really close range (I'll say less than a meter), and only if you're paying attention. It's stationary, so I'm also stuck in it, but good luck squeezing through holes ten centimeters wide with near-invisible thread without getting diced. Just so you know. Jaron didn't want it to be like this (his wording):
Possible Explanation wrote:
By the way, there were wires thinner than you could possibly see strung out over the air there, so by taking a step forward you've just died. Kthx!

OOC: Ok, Jaron's really coming down hard on me. I guess the cheese wire thing isn't viable anymore because it's not in the manga. Also, he says my bow is broken for three posts (including this one, I guess; I'm not going to include the few posts since it got sliced). I'm posting IC just to resolve these. This does NOT cancel out my last attack (unless Jaron says so, he hasn't so far).
BIC: Without warning, the net of spirit wires surrounding Ishida failed. His arrows were still heading for his opponent, but the crack in his bow had re-appeared, and the air had become almost devoid of spirit energy. Frowning, Ishida pulled out one of his last silver tubes and readied himself for another close-range attack.
OOC: Yes, I'm readied for melee, but if you try to shoot me I'll dodge it with ease. You need to be in melee reach to hit me, yet I'm prepared for that. Now we only have to see if my preparations work.

OOC: All I have to do is keep using new moves. As long as I don't repeat myself then Ishida won't be able to easily respond. And with a giant wound half way into your chest you can't exactly flash step without hurting yourself. A movement like that would make the wound even bigger. And it would tear away at your organs. You've seen it yourself in the anime. When someone suffers a big cut their flash stepping doesn't happen as often. And when it does the person is always heavily exhausted afterword. I don't recall a single time where they've flash stepped away from one attack after a big injury and managed to avoid another attack directly after.

BIC: Ike blocked an incoming arrow and it sent him to the ground. Immediately, using the incoming arrows as a cloak to hide his attack from Ishida he threw his sword into the air at Ishida. (Since the arrows are coming out from directly in front of you you wouldn't see the sword until it struck you. That's a downside to an attack like that. You can't see what's in front of you. Ishida has to rely on sensing his target. And I don't have spirit power.)

As soon as Ishida was struck a hand grabbed the hilt of the sword and brought it down on Ishida's hand with the capsule in it.

OOC: This move is Aether. You can try and respond to it if you'd like. But defying common sense can't get you far.

BIC: "AETHER!"

Ike jumped away as soon as he returned to the ground. The injuries he received from jumping through the Arrows immediately healed themselves.

"The next time I hit you. Will kill you."

To avoid being hit, Nnoitra swung his body in the same direction as the weapon, staying ahead of it. He circled around Greil, then attempted a circular slash, which would start with the front and end with the back.

Greil saw the weapon swinging at him. Greil had just enough time to drop to the ground. As he was dropping, he felt the weapon scrape his back. Greil rolled away from the man, and stood up.

OOC: Remember, I was firing fewer arrows. Plus, you think I'm dumb enough to stand there and let you hit me with a sword? You keep thinking the arrows will hide you, but I didn't fire enough to do that this time around, and I'm far enough away to have ample time to react. Lastly, yes, you have spirit energy, everyone has some bit of spirit energy, and the very air itself has spirit energy (except close to Ishida), so Ishida can still sense you. I'm going to go from the sword being thrown; you're going to have to go from there, as you're not going to get your Aether off.
BIC: Sidestepping a bit, Ishida caught the sword thrown at him with the had that had held his bow. His opponent also grabbed the sword, giving Ishida a perfect shot. "Gritz!" he yelled, hitting his opponent square in the chest with a pentacle, causing his opponent to assume a spread-eagle position, trapped. Dropping the spent tube, he grabbed the sword with both hands and wrenched it from his opponent's one-handed grasp (you can't hold it in two hands because they're really far apart). Stepping back a bit, Ishida held the sword and waited for more spirit particles in the air around him to re-gather.
OOC: Basically, you're trapped. Ike probably has more spirit energy than the average human being; if he didn't have any at all, you'd be stuck forever. I give you ten posts, minimum, before you're free, because unlike the Arrancar you don't have loads of spirit energy.

OOC: Wrong. You just hacked off your own hand. The momentum that Ike throws Ragnell is unstoppable by someone with as little physical strength as Ishida. All you've done is manage to put your hand right in the path of the cut. My move holds and all you managed to do was now lose both hands instead of the original. Ragnell is a two-handed Sword that Ike is able to wield with 1 hand because of his experience and brutal strength. Strength that Ishida does not have.

Also yes you fired less arrows. But the object coming at you is also smaller. with the number of arrows you fired It would go in quite well. But fine. I'm letting you grab at it. Because it only hurt you in the end.

Ishida also lacks the physical strength to pull the Sword out of Ike's hand.

but either way I'm going from where you try to grab my sword.

BIC: Ike watched as his opponents hand was lobbed off by his foolish attempt to grab his spinning blade. Ike grabbed the sword and was about to swing down when he heard his opponent yell a word at him. Using pure instinct he kicked the mans arm that was holding the silver tube and it hit him in the chest instead of Ike. As the man was bound by 2 pentacles Ike swung down with his sword yelling "Aether!" slicing the fighter in half.
