BIC:

The man in black activated his weapon, and some sort of glowing red cylinder appeared out of it. Just like last time, Bob thought, holding his arm up again, as a lightsaber-like beam appeared atop Glitch. He steadied himself at Vader's advance, ready for combat.

OOC:

Bob used a much similar weapon once. Here's a picture. He uses it like a lightsaber, except it's attached to his arm. He's rather skilled at blocking and countering, but judging from the episode he used it in, probably not as proficient as Vader would be. :P

BIC: "No, but it seems to be all I need to defeat you," Ishida replied back. The new opponent had found the openings where the arrow density was lower, but had learned that he couldn't slice the arrows. In short, he was running out of options, just like Ishida had in the last fight. Returning to the tried and true method of spamming arrows, Ishida held his bow forth and poured from it a continuous stream of arrows at over a thousand a second with a similar spread pattern to the last, except the holes in the spread were covered by the spread behind. He could keep this up for a fair amount of time, enough to hopefully decimate his opponent.
OOC: Currently, I'm still firing them. You can probably dodge the first "wave" like you did the last, but then the next wave will get you. I can't see what you'd do in this situation.

OOC: Ishida can't fire over a thousand arrows a second. When he uses his 1200 arrow attack it takes roughly 15 seconds for the arrows to stop coming. So I'm going to play my move as though you did that instead.

BIC:

Ike dodged around the arrows as he did before hoping for the best. Again at the end an arrow came flying towards him. His Silver Sword was stronger than the Steel Sword... could it survive this? Ike hit the arrow with his Silver sword. The sword cracked in half. As the second group of arrows came at him he threw the sword into the wave and ran forward as the arrows slammed against it. The weapon finally gave way and Ike drew his Killing Edge. Using quick swings he barely managed to get through the rest of the arrows before the weapon gave way. Ike drew Ragnell as an arrow hit the side of his leg. He slammed it into the ground in front of him as an arrow approached him. The arrow hit the sword and vanished. The arrows couldn't seem to scratch Ragnell.

Ike sat a moment in amazement. Then he realized that it wouldn't make sense any other way. A blade that could cut anything could surely stand up to anything. If only he could wield it efficiently...

He tilted the sword as he needed to to block arrows and noticed a blindspot. The arrows seemed to leave certain areas open at all times. Though they weren't very large. Ike drew his bow and shot an arrow at Ishida's head right before ducking back behind his sword.

Greil saw the man in black dodg a beam of light, and Grem, not knowing what it would do if it touched him, crouched to avoid the beam. Then he stood up when it had passed, and saw the two men had taken out more of the glowing swords. Greil ran towards them again, this time with more caution.

OOC: Sorry it takes a while for me to post, I've been sick lately.

OOC: Wait, can't he fire 1200 arrows a second? I thought that's what he said his bow could do when he first entered Los Noches.
BIC: Flash-stepping out of the way, Ishida noticed that the blind spots in his pattern had become apparent. There was a way to fix that. Flashing in a circle around his opponent, he again fired as many arrows as he could at his enemy in a spread, except this time they came from all directions.

Seeing the old man walking toward the battle, Nnoitra pinned him as the first target, and prepared to move. Using Sonido, he appeared in front of Greil, with his blade inches from his throat, the crescent going around his head.

Greil felt the tip of a blade touch the front of his neck. He turned his head and saw that there was a strange man behind him, with a curved blade around his throat. Greil instinctively stabbed backwards with his sword while ducking.

Laughing, Nnoitra was amused by the vain attempt at stabbing him, considering he was beyond normal sword range from the man.

Ike watched as arrows surrounded him from every side. He took an arrow to the chest and fell to the ground. The rest of the arrows vanished above him as they hit each other. The shooting stayed aimed at the same area. Apparently the archer had just as much trouble seeing through the arrows as he did. His eyes slowly closed. As he felt the world fade away suddenly he felt something divine inside of him. A light enveloped his body. The power of miracle saving him from death. Ike looked at his Satchel. The medallion was glowing brightly. He remembered Mist. He remembered Elincia. Suddenly he felt rejuvenated. Not only that... but stronger... Ike looked at Ragnell. He was lying there like a grunt. But Ragnell... it stood firm.

Ike rolled to his stomach. He felt his chest with his hands. There was no blood. The wound was gone. He yelled with a loud roar as he grabbed Ragnell's handle. Suddenly flames shot up from the ground. The arrows coming towards him disappeared in the flames. Ike pulled Ragnell out from the ground and pointed it at Ishida. (Let's face it. Ishida would stop momentarily at the shock of the flames alone. It's just how he is.)

"I have been born a new man! I feel stronger than I ever have before! But you? How much stamina do you have left? Your arrows died to the flames. Could it be that you're running low on energy?"

Ike put his sword behind his back again as he prepared to attack again.

"I'll give you a fair warning. The only movement I'll make from here. Is straight at you."

OOC: Miracle cuts a mortal blow in half. Meaning Ike survived the arrow with half his health left. Ike also promoted during the course of this. This patched up his wounds and made him more powerful. The Ike in SSBB is a less powerful version of Ike as a Lord (The profession I have now become).

Also Tahu. You've been spamming these arrows like crazy. You HAVE to be low on energy. Sure Ishida can fire arrows for days straight. But not this many arrows. And shooting those arrows days straight tore away at him. He became injured himself during the training just from the strain of forcing himself to keep going.

You've been spamming his 1200 arrow attack which is rather draining and you've used other moves of his. Don't think for a second that those spirit threads don't drain him. Quincys take energy from the atmosphere yes. however this is a very small world so the atmosphere is smaller. I'm sure you're draining your stamina like crazy. When you use energy it weakens your own stamina. Simply maintaining your bow works on your stamina. It's not like spirit energy magically does things for quincys. They have to make it take action for them.

And with all this flash stepping? That's not exactly helping you. If you don't think carefully about your next move. It could very well be your last.

OOC: Greil wouldn't know that though, would he, Kool ? He is only looking from the corner of his eye.

BIC: Greil turned when all he felt was the sword going through air. He saw that the view from the corner of his eye made him think the man was closer. He now saw he wasn't. Greil said to the man, "I don't want to have to fight you. All I want to do is get home. But if that would mean going through you, I will."

"Shame, it seems nobody can leave until one remains of course." Nnoitra looked over the man, hoping he was a competent fighter so that he wouldn't be bored.

OOC: Just a quick note: the Ishida I'm playing is at least twice as strong as the Ishida who fired arrows for seven days and six nights on end. However, you're right; Ishida would be somewhat drained, though not though lack of energy, just through concentration. But don't pretend that Ishida is near his limit yet. He got some rest from spamming arrows while the Arrancar was tied up, and again, he's not that easy to tire out.
BIC: That wasn't good. Ishida hoped that that was a one-time effect; he was starting to get tired. The flames were annoying, but Ishida also noticed that his opponent didn't move very much, and had now sworn to move only toward him. "Moving in one direction only is a bad idea," he responded, and proved his point by firing thirty or so arrows in a very narrow teardrop spread.
OOC: The point of the teardrop is pointed at me, while you're in the center of the drop part. Unless you suddenly got twice as fast, you're going to either get hit, break your vow, or both.

Ike pushed off of one foot and in a blur of motion he went from where he stood to in front of Ishida.

Ike swung his sword into Ishida from the side as he said:

"You were warned"

OOC: Ike used Ragnell to stop the arrows. You said I had to be twice as fast? Well guess what. I'm beyond that. Don't think for a second that Ishida wouldn't be shocked by the sudden change in speed. This attack is unavoidable. Now whether it is lethal or not is a different story. You anticipated that I would either get hit or come from the side. So Ishida would be anticipating an attack from the side or behind. And not only that but an attack he would see coming. This is not that.

And you did NOT get rest when Nnoitra was binded. You were still putting out a lot of energy shooting those arrows.

OOC: Unavoidable? Might I remind you that we're about TEN METERS UP? How Ike got there is a question unto itself; how he stopped when going that fast is another, especially since he can't use spirit energy to stand on air. Plus, that whole "not anticipating from right in front" thing is crap. You said you'd only move toward me, so that's what I'm expecting. Lastly, Ishida can keep up with the movements of Arrancar, even Espada (that's not to say he can match them, just that he can keep track of them). He's got almost superhuman reflexes. You can't surprise him, especially if you take the time for a quip.
Oh, one more thing: he has his bow in hand, which can be a shield for enough time for you to fall past. Time for my own "unavoidable" attack, as you can't really maneuver in midair.
Stamina isn't that big a factor. It's not like we've been fighting for hours. Really, I have a fair amount of time before it becomes a problem to worry about.
BIC: Ishida only had to pivot on one foot and raise his bow to block the slice before his opponent's momentum carried him past.. This opponent couldn't fly, but he could jump far. He was almost as fast as an Espada. However, that could be a disadvantage. Continuing the pivot, Ishida took the clear shot at the back of the man by firing about a hundred focused arrows.
OOC: The arrows are avoidable if you can maneuver freely in midair. Otherwise, you have a big problem in the form of a hundred arrows shot at your back.

OOC:
I'm going to let Pyro's movement of stopping in FRONT of Ishida stand. You've played SSBB, Tahu--in air or not, that attack of Ike's will make him stop immediately in front of his enemy and slash away. Also, that "You have no spirit energy" thing doesn't work--he's not a Bleach character. Of course he has no spirit energy. Super Sonic can fly in air, but also has no spirit energy. That argument just isn't supported.

So, since Ike's not behind Ishida like you made him out to be in your post, you'll probably have to edit it to reflect that.

OOC: His movement is fine by me Jaron. He seemed to have ignored how often I said that Ragnell can cut through anything.

Remember Nnoitra's skin Tahu? Ragnell can cut through that as well. I think that gives you a fair idea of the mistake you've made.

BIC: Ike watched as his sword pierced through the bow and sliced deeply into Ishida. The body split nearly in half and Ike dropped gracefully onto the ground and turned towards the corpse and watched as it fell.

OOC: You tried to block my attack. My attack cannot be blocked by your weapon. The end result is your death. If this action is approved by Jaron then we are done here.

No. Ishida loses his powers for a time and the only training he has after his weeklong training is training to get his powers back. He even acknowledges that he isn't as strong as he used to be but has some new tricks. These new tricks are his new bow and his silver tube techniques.

OOC: Wait. Don't I get an edit because Jaron let you stop in front of me, which I didn't think would work (and still don't)? If you're stopping, then I would have done something different. If you didn't stop, then my bow would be cut, but it would provide enough resistance for my pivot to get me far away enough to not be cut. You've completely forgotten that I'm not only sing my bow as a shield, I'm dodging as well. And yes, I can re-materialize my bow good as new.
And the "twice as powerful" thing was my approximation of his rise in power through experience and training.
No matter what the outcome, I can't post until Saturday or Sunday at the earliest; I'm going on a class trip.

OOC: I made my action and you responded. You don't get to suddenly change your move just because it didn't go well.

Also your bow wouldn't put up any resistence and you didn't block then dodge you moved then blocked and did nothing else but fire after that.

Since Ragnell can cut through your bow as if it was paper there isn't enough resistance to save you.

Jaron said that your stopping in front of me stood and that I got an edit because of that. Depending on his ruling, this might not be over yet.
Oh, and for future reference: any tips? I seem to be unable to win in a roleplay (though I've come close several times). Either I get beaten through a combination of planning, luck, and skill, or I get my opponent at their wits end and they literally blow up in my face. I'm looking for ways to stop that.
