It's possible Godders is actually a Tracker, but he could be lying to get heat off of Market. If Market flips a mafia power role, then that will help determine the validity of Godders' night one report. But, like Jackstick, I'm suspicious.

Honestly i think both me and Market Man are both innocent, Paidea even said himself there are several roles either side. There are probably 4 Mafia Members, and 2 of those probably have Special Roles. While there are probably 4 Village Special Roles out of 11.

Bluecoat's death also taught us that liars are not necessarily Mafia.

How do we explain blue's N1 report about Market visiting him? Do watchers get a full log of a player's night activity? Or could Market have killed PenguinGuy with his mafia buddies (an action that blue wouldn't have seen) and then used his very own special non-lethal non-blocking action on bluecoat? Perhaps a framer role.

That said, Market was undoubtedly correct in his N2 report (at least from my perspective; to the rest of you, I could be a liar collaborating with Market), and his N3 report about Godders leaving his home was supported by Godders. The uncertainty is what Godders did when he left. If Market is Mafia, then he'd have to have platinum balls to make a claim like that without knowing for sure that I didn't do anything at night. Godders on the other hand, is regurgitating Market's report, which I had already supported.

Also, Topsummoner, you have yet to comment on Godders' N2 report. Can you confirm that you didn't leave your home?


So yeah, I don't really see why Market has all these votes on him. Do you realize if we this day up, then we'll very likely lose by the end of tomorrow (Day 5)? 11 players remaining, probably 4 villagers. If Market is lynched and flips villager, and we lose another person at night, then all we have to do is up one more lynch for the Mafia to win. So far we've been pretty good at up.

This is how the Watcher role works. The Watcher chooses, each night, one player to watch. He receives a report of all the players other than himself who visited his target that night. Think of it as sometime staking out with binoculars watching someone's house to see if anyone goes in. The Watcher does not see if that person leaves their house. This is consistant with how Bluecoat was describing his role. Market's description does not fit this as he is claiming to see people leave their houses.

Blue's report is best explained by Market having a mafia power role. My guess is Mafia Stalker, who visits one person at night and learns the name of their role. This would explain how Market was correct about Godders leaving his house, because he simply knows he has a role.

The Tracker role Godders is claiming to have, for the record, chooses one person at night and follows them to see who they visit.

Market has all these votes on him because he's claiming a role already held by a dead player, and is incorrectly describing how the role works.



If Market is lying, then yeah, it is the vanilla mafia I was expecting. All the roles that have appeared were in Paidea's list in the sign-up topic. I think it's more likely he's just a lying mafia than Paidea not only making two Watchers, but making one of them work incorrectly as well.

If we were Mafia, do you think we'd be stupid enough to choose such similar roles. I definitely would've chosen bodyguard as my role, although seeing as i didn't role claim until after Sighence died, i probably would've chose Doctor.

People are discussing power roles for the Mafia here and seem to be forgetting what happened night two.

Frisky was killed and his role was cleaned up. Mafia janitor right there.
What if frisky had a role and Godders is claiming it? It would fit with the poor quality of his regurgitated reports, and his shifty nature right now vehemently defending market who, in agreement with top, seems to be a stalker. Those two could easily be working together, causing this debate where we feel one is lying, so when one flips Mafia the other is safe.

My vote stands

I am going to put a vote on Market, on the basis that I believe he is lying about his role. FoS on Godders, because I believe that he might be working together with Market to distract us.

Im horrible at working with other Mafia members to trick everyone into thinking i'm a Villager, because I bring everyone down with me, that's why when i'm Mafia i go off a do my own thing. Not dive straight in to someone who is considered Mafia by the majority of the Village and say they are innocent.

Also if the Market Man was a Stalker, that means there are 3 Mafia Roles or 2 if they don't have a Godfather and choose as a group who to kill. Which means the Village must have 3-5 roles.
