So I was protected from being culted by you once, and you were blocked twice?

Aragorn looking for a mass claim tells me "I want my partner to know what he's up against before he goes out on his own", assuming we're at two left. The Yak'd player.

The only curiosity I have left is Fisher's role. I'm still predicting Jailkeeper, but if not, that still means another role to potentially investigate and another person to claim Jailkeeper. Even then, at this point, claiming it isn't needed. As long as the Jailkeeper is willing to cooperate about investigating targeted Mafia, his role is as good as investigative.

The game is still in a pretty good position. If PenguinGuy is the new Mafia--which I doubt incredibly, as Aragorn claims to have no role--he's sacrificing himself to take down a Vanilla while Lander is free to strike him, opening Top to play the "Who will you attack? Me or him?" game as Defender. That ALSO leaves our Jailkeeper free to sniff out who is most likely the last remaining Mafia, who would be among Riptide, Ex Rex, and CODfisher (whoever is not the jailkeeper).

If PenguinGuy is not the new Mafia, we take out one and have a conundrum of who the second is. But let's face it, it would be near impossible to not be able to pick out one name turned Mafia when we have a perfect kill-streak Vigilante, a Watcher/Tracker, and a Jailer who could just as easily try to sniff out names via roleblocking.

I am okay with our current position. I am okay with lynching Aragorn.

Although to be honest, now that I think about it. I was put in Jail, but does that keep me from being converted? Or does that prevent ONLY death? It might need to be stated for the record if Rex can still preach his Cult to me while I'm in Jail, after all, I should technically be third party right now.
The same concept probably applies for consistency's sake. Rex could not be Yak'd if he was Jailed last night. If I avoided being converted while in jail, so would he. If this somehow is not the case, our host needs to learn to host.

It should prevent only death, really. Unless Godders folded Shrink into Jailkeeper, intentionally or not.

We'll probably have to lynch Rex to win the game since he's not a pro-town role.

Or if his logic was "While in a jail cell, he's kept from absolutely everything. Jail is jail, only the sentenced visit it."
If so, a smack to the head is in his near future.

A cult does die with its leader, right? No chance of a member suddenly changing into the Cult Leader / Backup of any way?

NO TOUCHING!

Uhm... I'm not sure. Probably depends on host flavour.... I'd wager to say recruited Cult Members can still win, but only the original Leader can recruit.

Well, I'm gonna go ahead and stick with the idiot host theory. When my N1 action failed, I got no alert until I inquired about it via pm... Once I figured out that Kikori being jailed prevented my action, I was pretty pissed honestly.

I'd still like Riptide and Fisher to roleclaim before we move ahead with lynching. Strictly speaking the safest bet is to lynch Rex today but he seems pretty undetermined to win at this point anyways... can't really blame him.

Kill me if you like, I care not. Virtually impossible to achieve my victory conditions now anyways.

The reason I say it's safest to kill you is because your ability will mess with other people's win conditions they've been working towards.

Such it is with conversion roles that makes them very unsuited for forum play. In chat play they're fine because the games are shorter, but here, they can really wreck morale.

Well he did merge Watcher with Tracker.
Kikori wrote:
we have a perfect kill-streak Vigilante
Lander killed the Framer and our detective. He's one for two.

With the revelation of Cult this leaves one role unknown.

Players:
1 | Dr Henry - Claimed Bullet Proof
2 | Aragorn Ix - Watched him enter Tops house. Scum. (Claims Vanilla Townie)
3 | Scar - Survivor, Slain Night One
4 | Market Man6 - Detective
5 | Landerpurex - Mr.Hyde
6 | Kikori - Claimed Bomb
7 | Monk Basher - Mafia Goon, Lynched Day Two
8 | Topsummoner - Dr. Jekyll
9 | Riptide
10| Ex Rex - Cult leader
11| Penguinguy - Watcher/Tracker
12| Sayaka - Yakuza
13| CODfisherMW2
14| Animal - Framer, Slain Night One

Two People Unclaimed:
Riptide
CODfisherMW2

Role that have been claimed/revealed:
Survivor (Scar)-Survive to the end I'm assuming
Framer (Animal)-Standard framer I'm assuming
Yakuza (Sakaya)-Killed himself, yakked someone.
Goon (Monk)- Just a Mafia goon.
Mr. Hyde (Lander) - A lover pair with Dr. Jekyll (Top), has killing ability
Dr. Jekyll (Top) - A lover pair with Mr. Hyde (Lander), has doctor ability
Bomb (Kikori)- Kills hammer voter, or night attacker
Bullet Proof (Dr. Henry) - Survives a night attack with public announcement, I assume once, Henry didn't specify
Watcher/Tracker (Penguin) - Me. Watched Monk. Also watched Aragorn enter Tops house.
Detective (Market Man)- Standard I assume.
Cult Leader (Ex Rex)-Claimed, but I don't doubt because that's basically suicide.

Role that likely exist:
Jailkeeper- Kikori claims to have been jailed, so does Ex Rex

Jail Keeper is either Riptide or CODfisher, assuming everyone has told the truth. My only question is if the other is vanilla or some other role. Shrink maybe? Would make sense with Yakuza and with Cult.

But with Ex Rex as Cult, we should probably lynch him today so his Cult doesn't grow and we don't have to find another cultist later. Tonight Lander should kill Aragon, and I can hopefully find the other Mafia.

Yeah, I'm not gonna bother sending in actions anymore, don't worry. Even if I did, godders is apparently playing it to give the target option to accept/decline.

Derp again. I forgot Jaron's role was a suicidal one. >_< Note to self, stop mixing Mafia posts with busy households. (Though I'm proud to say my nephew scored his team's first run in the final game of his baseball season--they pulled it from 1 to 6 and won 7 to 6.)

Fuzzy memory recalls Henry getting it clarified via PM with Godders that he would be publicly announced as having survived a night kill.

And I honestly don't know if Rex is going to bother trying to recruit anymore. He's ousted himself, so the only thing he can do is troll the game by trying to turn a Mafia into a Cult. I wonder how that would end up? "I am going to try to turn this guy to Cult. If I die, I tried to turn a Mafia into my cult." He's as good as dead, and proving your role via a lynch of Aragorn is more productive to how Lander uses his kill tonight.

So Rex the post ninja. Is it specified what happens if you try to recruit a Mafia?

That honestly sucks because it makes it nearly impossible for you. But we should lynch him in the case he does recruit again tonight. Because if we lynch him today and kill Aragorn tonight, we can be productive tomorrow, but if we lynch Aragorn today and kill Ex Rex tonight, he might have recruited someone, and we will have to spend tomorrow lynching them. Thus so, Ex Rex

It is not. I could prod godders for an answer, possibly, but it's a moot point.

Penguin. "In case he does" is a fat chance at this point. Don't beat a dead horse based on a suspicion when we've got someone you claim is a prime target. If the Mafia are running tracker-watcher conditions of who carries out the kill based on who PM's first, that cuts in half your ability to successfully watch the action. And you could just as easily catch Rex in the process if he somehow bothers to recruit anyone.

Hmm that is a good point. If there is only one mafia left then if I watch them, I will for sure watch them do the kill. If there are two, I could watch a Mafia, but see nothing. So Aragorn Ix is the better lynch target, but Lander should kill Ex Rex or we should lynch him tomorrow. regardless.

Good lord. Well protected, Top, though your idiot advice on market was idiotic. It's why I try to go on about scumhunting like normal when I have a power role, not act like a doofus with something to hide. Part of me had an inkling about Jaron, but I wasn't willing to test it. Not yet, anyway. What's even worse, is why when Jaron was being cryptic about his 'role' no one (looking at YOU Kikori) questioned him. :?:

Anyway, my bad, Market.

I'm on board with the plan, I guess. I've checked out of this game because it was just too ambitious on Godders' part. A normal game can have some flavor, can have one or two outlying roles. A normal game does not consist of every person under the sun having a role. It certainly does not consist of several third parties.

Though it has been somewhat fun, the fact that there is also a cult leader make me want to puke rage, as Top would say.

And kikori, you don't want to know even a fraction of Top and my win conditions. Let's just say there is a good chance we are both going to lose, even if we survive, and that we're just playing for funsies because we're townies at heart. That's how convoluted our win conditions are. That's also what he was talking about when he said we'd need to eliminate ex rex to win.

At this point, figuring out who was yakked is going to be the worst of it. It could easily be Henry or Kikori...or Penguin. Especially if Aragorn flips town.

Which he won't, and if he does, you can take pride in personally killing me. I watched him visit Topsummoner, and he claims vanilla townie. The only explanation is he is lying and scum.
