Vriska was impressed by the weird fakey spell caster's prowess. But she wasn't going to let someone ELSE get HER kill! She had to make her move. Advance or a8scond!

-- arachnidsGrip [AG] began trolling The Warlock [TW] --

AG: You're preeeeeeeetty good.
AG: 8ut he's mine.
AG: 8ack off or I'll make you!!!!!!!!

Without waiting for a response, Vriska throws her FLUORITE OCTET, bouncing them off the ground before they transform into eight spinning daggers headed straight for the Warlock.

OOC: Stip, I've been kind of preoccupied these last few days. I will try to make a post later tonight, it might be more beneficial to all of us chronology-wise if you wait for me before responding to J, but do as you wish.

OOC: No problem.

Also, I just remembered the cooldown for Haunt is 8 seconds, rather than 24. Mind if I edit it in my older posts?

He summoned another underling to shield himself this time... meaning he couldn't stop it on his own. Maybe his earlier maneuver was a one-time thing.

Jack stopped the ring's attack anyways. He still felt heavy, the dark energies were still burning, and the pain was building, but he tolerated it. Would make it all the sweeter when this magic flinging Fuzzy Bunny was cold dead on his sword.

Suddenly, a green beam of energy joined Jack and the Warlock. More nonsense. Jack prepared to fly forward angrily when he heard a voice.

"You're preeeeeeeetty good, 8ut he's mine. 8ack off or I'll make you!!!!!!!!"

More trouble. This one was a stupid looking girl with horns. Jack's gut told him she was a player of the game, but she didn't look like no human.

Opting to land instead of proceeding with his original course of action, Jack reared his tentacles back and flung the Regiswords point first, one at the newcomer and one at the other guy.

The Warlock raised his hand into the air, and suddenly crumbled into a pile of black dust, shortly after which the attacks hit, scattering it across the breeze.

The Warlock stepped away from the Demonic Circle he had summoned before, dusting off his robe as he walked away from it a bit and cast Soul Link again. He then proceeded motion towards Jack with his hands, signaling Vriska to do whatever she needed to do with him as his Voidwalker headed back to his side.

OOC:
Cooldowns:
Haunt: 2 seconds
Shadow Ward: 12 seconds
Demonic Circle: Teleport: 30 seconds
Soulburn: 42 seconds
Sacrifice: 58 seconds

Vriska catches her FLUORITE OCTET and activates her ROCKET BOOTS. She throws herself into a flip, narrowly dodging the Regisword in a particularly stylish manner. She notices that the Warlock has backed off, but he's still doing something to hold the Demon back. She guesses he didn't quite get her meaning: She wants the kill alone, and doesn't want to share the credit with ANYONE. She dashes at the Warlock, swinging wildly at him with OCCAM'S RAZOR.

The Warlock sighed. He had been hoping to regain the soul shard he spent on summoning his demon and take a sip of tea while watching these two wear each other out. Oh well, not so lucky then.

As Vriska headed his way, The Warlock cast a Curse of Weakness on her, while his demon jumped in front of the attack, taking the full blow. (Note: The voidwalker pet I'm using is known as a "tanking pet", meaning he can withstand large amounts of damage)

As his minion got hit by the attack, The Warlock decided it would be a good idea to keep his distance from the grey-skinned fool. Moving away, he cast Bane of Agony and Corruption at her as he went. In the meantime, the Voidwalker also punched in her general direction.

OOC: J, you're not going to be using that luck-stealing attack, right? cause that'd be really, REALLY overpowered.

Cooldowns:
Shadow Ward: 9 seconds
Demonic Circle: Teleport: 27 seconds
Soulburn: 39 seconds
Sacrifice: 55 seconds

The enemies were close together. Perfect.

Jack activated his ring. Again. Red things spidered out at Warlock and Vriska etc.

OOC: Ok, after discussing with Discrimin8, he's decided to just leave, and now that this seems to be picking up again, I'm going to continue.
BIC: Rings of blue light fell from the sky, enveloping the northern warrior. Wary of an attack, Mifune maintained a guard, but, after about eight seconds, the light shot up into the sky, taking the warrior with it. Mifune could sense that the man's presence had completely vanished. Ah well, guess he decided to surrender. Mifune gathered his swords, wiped the blood off them, and put them back in their case. He noticed that the field had grown quieter, though the sounds of battle still resounded from one direction. That seemed like his best bet for now.

I've never played a BF, they weren't around when I started. Is it still too late to join?

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

Well, previous Battlefields have limited new entries to the first three pages, so...just a bit. At this point, you'd have to ask the host directly. If you do join, I'm facing you; I really don't want to turn the current melee a trois into a mess.

OOC: I would not join. Anyways, J had decided he's dropping out so....

IC: The beam struck the troll across the left side, blowing away her VISION EIGHTFOLD and left arm. Blue blood sprayed everywhere. Drawing his attention away from but not losing sight of the Warlock, Jack flew over to Vriska. "All the luck?"

He landed and slashed her throat. "Too bad luck doesn't actually matter."

The FLUORITE OCTET clattered to the ground from the troll's limp hand. Jack sheathed his sword and picked them up.

Well, if J drop out, just kill off his character and make me born from him or something. I don't have to join if you don't want me to.

As the webs of energy began to head towards him, The Warlock ordered his Voidwalker to move towards him, as he ran back to it. Meeting halfway, he ducked behind it as it absorbed the majority of the attack.

The warlock himself also got struck by the attack, it piercing his left arm leaving a large, gaping hole in it. Fortunately, the link he had forged between his and his minion's souls transferred a quarter of the damage he'd took, leaving the wound non-lethal, though still painful.

Having taken too much damage to remain bound to this world, the Voidwalker faded away, leaving only his bracers lying on the ground.

Immediately afterward, The Warlock began to summon. Six seconds later, a Felhunter appeared on his side, granting it's master some Fel Intelligence. The Warlock then drank some of the blood flowing from his wound to restore some of his mana.
Draining the Healthstone he'd summoned earlier, the bleeding of his wound stopped, and it, very slowly, began to knit back together again, supported by the slow but constant flow of health from his Fel Armor.

Feeling strong enough to get back in the fray, The Warlock began to conjure up another Healthstone and waited for the Sovereign Slayer to finish savoring his kill.

OOC:
Felhunter abilities

Cooldowns:
Shadow Ward: 3 seconds
Demonic Circle: Teleport: 21 seconds
Soulburn: 33 seconds
Sacrifice: 49 seconds
Healthstone: 120 seconds

Also Lunar, seeing how Top, Tahu and myself are the only remaining contestants in this battlefield anyway, it would be a better idea to just wait for the next one to begin rather than to join this one near the ending.

Firstly, I have to say that I appreciate the people who are keeping this thread alive, and who are playing well and making my job easy. :D

Secondly, I have no problem with Riptide joining because of the lack of general activity and the dwindling numbers...but if the general consensus is that you don't want things complicated, I'll stand by that. You guys are playing, not me.
